We really enjoyed the Wymara and would return. I’ll say we did get off to a bumpy start with an odd check-in experience, but the hotel ultimately handled it the right way and things improved rapidly. The facility, particularly the rooms, is very nice. Spacious, bright and clearly newly renovated - comfortable bed, nice balcony. Great internet, good enough for work Zooms (sad but sometimes you can’t help it). The beach is totally perfect, exceeded our high expectations, and the umbrella/chair set up was adequate. Pool looked nice too, a little more popular than the beach but didn’t notice a shortage of chairs and the hotel was mostly full. We enjoyed the food at Indigo and the lunch at Zest, particularly the grouper sandwich. Both are pricey, but appears to be the norm on the island. There are some off notes - the breakfast should probably be improved (it’s minimal - comparable to a Garden Inn or Marriott Courtyard). The staff was very gracious on the whole but there were service encounters that were a little rough around the edges or suggested some inexperience. They were working on renovating the beach bar, so there is some construction noise at the moment. And I think you should offer things like a dental kit etc. complimentary at a hotel at this price point. We didn’t need one, but there was a price list for things you might’ve forgotten prominently displayed in the bathroom and $8 seems steep…maybe just a pet peeve. But none of that detracted much from the experience - we basically went to lay on the beach and the Wymara is a great place to do that.
Loved my stay here. It was the Gansevort when I stayed here. Beautiful property. The beach was perfect. And it was walking distance to other resorts and bars on the water. My room was amazing with a button to pull up and down blackout shades with a direct view of the water.
Wymara Resorts was an incredible experience! The newly renovated rooms are stunning. With Aesop Beauty products, you feel like you are in a spa everyday. Thank you Janette for your wonderful help at the Gift Shop! The Brunch was included daily and consisted of a wide selection of food. Zest Restaurant overlooks the water and is a perfect place for lunch, especially when first arriving. The Zest menu is also used for the Beach and Poolside service, which is prompt and friendly. Also at the Beach, you can make use of snorkels, glass bottom kayaks and more. Finally, the Indigo restaurant is second to none on all of Provo. Chef Andrew and his staff have done a wonderful job of marrying local ingredients and cuisine with innovative preparations and presentations. Valerie is a joy to start your meal as a hostess extraordinaire. While all servers are well trained and professional, if you are lucky enough, Loroy will enhance your experience with his strong knowledge and winning personality. Although it appears effortless, Deejo Sebastian runs the Restaurant areas flawlessly. Indigo is the jewel of the Island!
