Awful experience, the room and specially bathroom was very cold and it wasn't possible for us to take a shower. We complained but unfortunately the internal manager was so RUDE that asked us to check out and leave to another hotel.He said don't you know that we are facing energy crisis due to Ukraine and Russia's war?!!!!! Europe does not have that much energy to warm up the rooms!!!! for the first 2 days we stayed in West End Hotel and we were really satisfied.
this hotel room.....i fund bed bugs .don"t stay this hotel .they changed room for me mid of night,but whole night i cant slept .....very bad experience ! i have to canceled reservation immediately......not recommend!!beware they may never give u reservation refund
Why some people would say that French are arrogant? I don’t like stereotypes but this hotel proved absolutely that this is true. Evan after this experience, I still don’t believe in this stereotype, but for sure I will remember this bad experience for a long time. My husband booked a king size bedroom with the see view. We got the room, and I don’t want to go to the place that was dated and bathroom old. We could survive with that. View is just amazing. But, we realized it’s a queen bed. We went to the reception and front desk person said it’s actually king in France and that Americans always get confused with that. First of all why country of residence is important here? We may be living in USA but we are not Americans. We travel all the time, I am from Austria and we have five homes world wide. He behaved like we don’t now what are we talking about. Ok. We are ignorant Americans and he is a superior French. Ok. Then when he saw that we won’t live until we solve this, he said oh yes, we do have king beds problem was platform we used, Expedia and that they are synced. Ok. I guess it’s not our problem. We really wanted to stay there and asked if there is something he can do to make this experience better. This is the basic customer service. No smile. He said nothing until tomorrow until his manager comes. Ok. Expedia called him few times, then suddenly he called his manager. What about he can’t call his manager until tomorrow? Ok. Manager said they are happy to cancel the room and will get a full refund. Ok. They could not offer like a free dinner? Where is the essence of customer service? For our 6 days stay I assume we would spend over 2500 euros. Is that something that is irrelevant for the business? I guess it is.
