I wfny got a pool and beach offer.had a fantastic day and the service by the pool was impeccable! Highly recommend! Foley, Thomas and Atabo did a great job and made sure I am comfortable as possible!
My stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Dubai was wonderful. Every staff member I met, greeted me with a smile, a hello, and an offer to get whatever I needed all I had to do was ask. There are a few staff members that I want to call out my name as I feel they went above and beyond, or probably more accurately that this is how they are to everyone they encounter. Diwakar cleaned our room every day. I was delighted to I walk into a very clean room and to my surprise find towel animals that he had fashioned. His creativity is amazing. I spent two full days at the pool by myself, the first day Borzo found the perfect spot for me so that I wouldn’t be in the sun. The second day he knew exactly where I wanted to sit. Aziz, the lifeguard, visited with me, made sure that I always had ice water, moved the umbrella when he thought he needed to keep me out of the sun and he would bring me fresh towels after a swim so that I wouldn’t get cold. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If you want to feel pampered, this is the place to come.
We have just returned from our 3rd stay at the Waldorf Astoria on the Palm and we must say it didn’t disappoint, we stayed for two weeks and wish we could of stayed longer! We stayed in a Pearl Club room which had wonderful views of the Palm and was kept beautifully clean by the house keeping staff. The club facilities and staff were outstanding, always great service and always with a smile, the lounge had breathtaking views and was a wonderful place to enjoy afternoon tea or watch the amazing sunsets in the early evening while enjoying a cocktail or two. The hotels four main restaurants don’t disappoint, the Mezzerie is a self service restaurant and has a theme to each evening, we especially enjoyed the Indian and Mexican nights. The Palm Avenue restaurant provided poolside food during the day and a beautiful outdoor dining experience for the evening, we have to thank Akhil for ensuring our visits were always special and the service impeccable. We rounded out our in house dining with a couple of visits to Lao the Asian restaurant where we had great food and held my wife’s birthday celebration, beautiful, many thanks to all for a wonderful evening. The pool areas and beach at the Waldorf have a casual uncluttered welcoming feeling, plenty of room between beds or cabanas and a good number of life guards and attendants to look after you, many thanks in this area to Borzo who ensured once again that we have had the very best of service, he always goes above and beyond and is 100% focussed on ensuring everyone is well looked after, shout out also to Atabot, Santos and Sasi. Overall our trip to Dubai was again very memorable, the we have over the years stayed on a number of hotels both on and off the Palm but we have found the Waldorf Astoria to be welcoming, friendly, and customer focused. The hotel not too big as to feel overcrowded but feels relaxed and comfortable while providing a high standard of service. Many thanks to all, another great holiday!
