My wife and I have been to the Waldorf many times, and we love returning again and again. As we are both Diamond members, we were upgraded to a magnificent Jr. Suite! Breakfast at Jean-Georges was superb, and kudos to the servers, Victor and Jaime. I would like to also mention the wonderful staff at the front desk, Ryan, Allicin, Hazim and Aaron. Finally, I would like to give a special thank you to a very special person at the Waldorf, Daniela Rotari, the Guest Relations Manager. My wife spoke to Daniela and asked if there were any kids activities at the hotel, as we were having our grandchildren visit us at the hotel. Although there wasn’t anything for kids at the hotel, Daniela immediately arranged a whole play area in our room, which we discovered upon our return. She arranged a magnificent tent, with a make-believe campfire, the kitchen prepared smores, and also many toys and games were provided for the kids. It was so special of Daniela to arrange everything for us, and this will be a fond memory that we will cherish always. We are eagerly awaiting our next trip to Los Angeles and returning to the Waldorf.
I think this is one of our favorite Waldorf's in the world (besides the Amsterdam location) - the location is PERFECT in Beverly Hills and walking to all the top shopping areas and stores is so easy. Staff make this place and they really make this dynamic spot even more incredible. DO NOT miss the Rooftop bar as it is incredible!!
The property is immaculate. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The restaurant has very good service and the food is also quite good. The eggs Benedict were my favorite. The neighborhood is walkable but not a lot of things are within walking distance. However they do have a house car to take you to local shopping and such. You just have to make a reservation. I’m not great at planning in advance. So I found Uber to be easier. The only issue I had is that they force you to the front desk even if you already have a digital key - which I found annoying after traveling all day.
