We stayed in November, 2022 in a Fountain View Suite. What we liked: Bed was comfortable, we slept well Location is central on the strip Smoke-free Quiet room In-app check-in worked well and our room was ready exactly at check in time. What we didn't like: Décor is dated and obviously worn View is more obstructed than appears in photos on website and there is no seating from which to enjoy the view NO COFFEE in the rooms! If you want to rent a Keurig, it's something like $20 per day. Three lights were burned out in our room Bathroom sink drain was clogged We made our reservation through MGM Rewards and were supposed to get a restaurant credit and free play with check in. There was no clear way to redeem these offers and we never figured it out. We used the in-app room key feature rather than a physical keycard. The readers in the elevator and on our room door did not detect the keys well. We saw several other guests struggling with theirs as well. Other good-to-know info: From the Vdara website, "Self Parking is available steps away at ARIA Resort & Casino." Please note that there will be A LOT of steps between your car and your room. Not a huge deal for us, but if you have a lot to carry or kids or cannot walk long distances, it might be tough to try self parking there. You can take the monorail, but it's still a trip. Self-parking is an extra charge. Overall, there are a lot of much better options in Las Vegas. We definitely overpaid for our accommodations this time.
Had a wonderful stay at the Vdara. We had a studio parlor room at it was perfect! Separate seating area, small kitchen with weighted fridge and bar fridge we could use for our own stuff. Bathroom was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful modern tub and separate shower. Almost 600sf. Hotel is super clean and quiet. Aria next door has the casino so this was perfect for being quiet at night while fun is close by. Great location next door to the Bellagio and all connected through walkways to Caesar’s. Last trip we stayed at the Encore so this really is comparable to the Wynn and Encore. Miles above MGM Grand, which we also stayed at and it was horrible. We would definitely stay here again if at the south end of the strip. Staff were helpful and nice. Everything was kept meticulously. Nice to have the Starbucks and cafe on the main floor. Busy hotel but perfect size and perfect stay!!
I felt like the female that checked us in (she was in an arm sling possibly not having her best day) wanted to be somewhere else. We were excited to try a new hotel but immediately wondered if we made a mistake as we were made to feel unwelcomed. Getting past that, the room and views were awesome.
