Water is disgustingly dirty straight from the tap, rooms are filthy, this should be a one star hotel. Location is good but do you really want to stay at a place that has that water? The amenity fee is $42 for two bottles of water, the bottles are not even full they are the short bottles. Wi-Fi is horrible.

We booked thinking this was through Hilton, when we went to check out they renieged on a offer with our in hotel dining citing how we booked. Our room had black mold on tub and we didn't have maid service for the three day stay. On checkout they said you should have asked to be moved. I have a bad knee and this place has the "walk of death" in order to get from the casino to the room elevators. I read where this place is being taken out in favor of a street project-good!!!!!

When I made this reservation on the Hilton website I did not realize that it was the actual Tropicana Hotel and Casino across from the MGM. Evidently Hilton recently bought the property. Unfortunately it looks unchanged from when I stayed there 20 years ago, just older and dirtier. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but without the mini=fridge and coffeemaker I expect in a Hilton property. I had a balcony room with a decent view of the pool area, but the patio furniture was dirty. The elevator and stairwells were horribly dirty. The parking garage for self-parking had stairs and curbs to get into the hotel so it was difficult with roller bags. Staff at front desk and housekeeping were helpful and pleasant. I just really hated having to walk across the lobby to a Starbucks to get my first cup of coffee in the morning. I hope Hilton plans to spruce up this hotel.
