We arrived a a party of 12 golfers for three nights golf bed and breakfast . brilliant hotel courses excellent and nothing to much trouble for the staff at this hotel . message to the manager yiur staff are superb polite and so helpful . first class they let us stay slightly late on day of check out as we were playing golf . thanks so much excellent stay
Enjoyed a super week in the fantastic care of the staff at this wonderful hotel. Superb picturesque setting with view of mountains and sea & three golf courses to choose from. Spanish in design with lovely outside areas with fountains & with a delicious restaurant menu which affords eating al fresco on terrace (golf clubhouse dining & poolside bar & lunch offerings too) or inside in lovely modern decor. Superb breakfast offering. All the staff at this hotel are excellent & r truly what makes this hotel a stand out offering. Every staff member from front desk, pool, restaurants, golf club, room service, housekeeping were pleasant, hardworking & attentive. A truly 5 star hotel & I can’t recommend it highly enough. Wonderful friendly staff under shockingly bad leadership which is so unfortunate. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are delightful. The restaurant staff have impeccable manners and work hard to provide a delightful service with great personal attention. But the lack of consistent and guest focused management lets them all down. There were days when the pool area was a complete mess, dirty towels on beds everywhere to the point there was no where to sit. Dirty plates and cups left lying around for an entire day due to disorganisation of staff rotas. The high level leadership went back on promises made to reconcile and compensate and a rude response given by the hotel manager who seems out of touch and unable to appreciate a long time guests perspective and feelings. He went so far as to imply that we had lied which is not a useful way to solve an unhappy experience. Significant number of points were taken unlawfully from our account for an upgrade we were provided with the message that it was complimentary due to our elite status of the membership program upon checkin. No response or explanation given for points being deducted from our account for this. Future attempts at communication ignored. Appalling customer service from those at the top of management which lets down the efforts of the staff on the ground. A disappointing experience that we would not want to have again. Such a shame.
