I stay at Westin every time I am in Dubai and I am amazed at the level of service, it is top notch. Stopped at the pool for lunch and one of the service staff, Hanifah, wa simply amazing. Great attention to detail, excellent smile and simply very nice. By far, one of the best team member, I have encountered on my visit to Westin this time

I want to commend Riyas from Valley Parking for going above and beyond when my 4x4’s battery died. He stayed with me until the issue was fixed, arranged a taxi for my family, and made sure they were safely picked up. His assistance was exceptional and greatly appreciated.

The hotel was a catalogue of poor service, lies, threats and rudeness. I checked in at 2:30am hoping to get a quick shower and sleep after a long flight. No one told me about any issues with the rooms at the time of check-in When I got into the room, I found out that there was no water. There was a letter on the bed saying that there would be no water from 2 -5am, so they knew exactly that there would be no water and chose not to tell me when I was checking in. The fact that the least a customer would expect is ability to take a shower after a journey did not seem to register with them. There was no way I would have gone into a room without water. I called the reception and asked for a bucket of warm water so that I could at least wash myself. After 45 minutes of waiting, they dumped a crate of bottles with ice-cold drinking water (see the photo) in front of the door. They did not even bother to bring it inside. I asked to see the manager. I was told that he would come immediately, but apparently he was too bothered to get up from his bed. The manager, Mohammad Ali, spoke to me 3 times saying that he and the bucket of water would be coming soon. However, after 45 minutes of waiting, neither the manager, nor the water materialized. Needless to say, there was no water in the flush or bidet either. I went to bed without getting a chance to wash. When I turned up the taps at 7am in the morning to brush my teeth, the water was greyish brown (see photo). So fearing for my health, I left the hotel. During check-out, they charged me for the full night's stay (including breakfast). My reasoning with the same Mohammed Ali that spending time in a room without running water and flushing toilet does not count as a stay did not seem to register with him. He started being rude and threatening to me. So I ended up 250 dollars for 3 hours in a room with no water and no working toilet with the added experience of being lied to and shouted at by a lazy, incompetent manager. This works out to 2000 USD per 24 hrs. May be it is a price worth paying if you want a first hand Fawlty Tower experience. My suggestion: AVOID THIS DISASTROUS PLACE AT ANY COST
