The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The only negative was the thumping music all day from the pool. If I had known that, I would have asked to have a city facing room. I absolutely don't want Vegas to be quiet, but I was not prepared for the windows to shake from 11-5ish every day. It didn't fit with the otherwise luxurious stay.

Bring your walking shoes (especially if you're attending a conference!) because this place is a huge maze! They have clearly put in a lot of money and effort into making this resemble the real Venice pretty darned well. There was so much to like! The hotel had some very kind and helpful staff, all of the restaurant servers were incredibly attentive and friendly but not annoyingly so. The food was delicious. The guest rooms were so quiet, never heard anything from my neighbors who were there for the same conference. Linens were that perfect combination of crisp and soft. Lovely bathroom with a very quiet toilet, and immediate HOT water. Great air conditioning. Only negatives were the price of dinner at the restaurants and in-room snacks (wow! $12.50 for a can of soda and $20 for candy??) and the bed was not as comfortable as I expected (granted, I'm really picky).

Very clean hotel....th TV express check out wasn't working. I checked out usikg th kiosk downstairs..that's the only issue....everything else is nice. I like the food in th cafe, wasn't bad at all. I will revisit again soon when I have some time
