This was my first stay at the Venetian. I booked a prestige floor room and it was worth every cent. The check in at the 36th floor prestige lounge was fast and efficient. My room on the 30 th floor was clean, well-maintained, and up to date with 2 flat screen TVs (and another in the bathroom). The bed and pillow are very comfortable and there is no sound from any adjoining room. I slept great here. The prestige lounge was perfect for a breakfast with a number of options (eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc.). Evening hors d'oeuvres were usually almost enough for a meal. The alcoholic drinks were top shelf (Tito's for example) and there is always bottled water, soda, and coffee available all day. A drink and snacks while watching the sun set over the mountains was a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. A shout out to Arthur who was out server most evenings. I would not hesitate to come back and you are my new favorite hotel on the strip.

This is one of the biggest mazes you'll ever stay in. All roads lead not to Rome but, rather, the casino floor. Check-in is reasonably fast as they have almost a dozen staff for that. Quite a few steps will take you to one of the several towers. Complex room numbering will take a day to get used to. Each rooms is a massive suite - with 2-3 TVs (albeit smaller than most newer places) and phones everywhere. A sunken living area with a massive window (with views of white roofs and A/C units) that has over-the-top electric curtains. The bathroom is massive and the water pressure varies greatly by room (mine was fair) but the water was nice and hot. A big soaking tub does allow you to get a bit of a float. There is a safe and the usual robes/slippers. Ice comes from anemic ice makers that run out quickly. Don't touch the table top display of food or water or you'll be charged. And at 5 bucks a bottle of generic water, who wouldn't want to spend that kind of money.... It's comfortable - A/Cs work great / beds are big and pillows are numerous and only minimally flat. The overall vibe is extravagance and they achieve that well in a kitschy manner. Housekeeping staff are friendly and ever-present.

From the canals and gondolas to the architecture and interior decor, the Venetian Resort stays close to the theme without going over the top. It is classy and beautiful all throughout. The Venetian also has great free parking!
