Breathtaking beauty! Love the design of the hotel Nd our room. Most of all, however, is the delightful staff and their desire to to helpful with all requests. Unique in many regards - even for a boutique hotel.
We stayed here on the front and back end of a trip to Malaysia and LOVED this hotel. The rooms were unique and artfully decorated. Check in and out was easy, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Location - fantastic. We could walk everywhere, including down to Marina Bay. At night we could explore both Little India and Chinatown. Each evening we would go to happy hour in the lounge, and the bartender (i'm sorry i can't remember his name) was attentive and remembered what we ordered from the day before - and stay before. He's incredibly knowledgeable about their whisky menu, and if you've seen their selection you know that's a great compliment! Also, one night i left my hoodie at the jazz show and it was held for me at the reception area. i was very thankful staff turned it in AND remembered it was me. If we return to Singapore we would for sure stay at the Vagabond Club, and would recommend it to others looking for a unique boutique hotel.
I stayed at another Marriott hotel in Singapore on the same night (Marriott Tang) and the Marriott Bonvoy representative told me over the phone that they would waive the cancellation fee because I am a Platinum Elite member. The Vagabond Hotel Manager refuses to honor the wishes of Marriott Bonvoy, and it’s been a huge headache trying to get the cancelation fee refunded (as promised). I definitely would never stay at this hotel in Singapore as the Customer Service is horrible and they don’t have any regard for Platinum Status at this hotel
