Overall a nice property, but unfortunately Shisha Lounge is nearby and is incredibly loud. Front desk was very nice and said that they had been calling the police repeatedly since 12 midnight about the obnoxious noise. This could present a big problem if this nearby establishment is allowed to continue in this manner. Outside of this issue, the property, beach and restaurants are very nice. But it’s a big problem being unable to sleep at 3am because of a DJ who is allowed to play outside and scream like a deranged lunatic at the top of his lungs. This club is open nightly so I would recommend highly to call ahead for an update about this nearby establishment (Shisha Lounge) if you do not wish to hear blaring music and screaming DJs in your room at 3am.
We spent Nov 15th - November 19th at The Ritz TC. It is a beautiful hotel & service is outstanding! This hotel is newer & has terrific views given all rooms are ocean facing. Having stayed at other Ritz locations, this one feels more like Marriott Ritz & not your traditional Ritz Carlton with heavy drapes, carpets, furnishings & very high standards. For example, at this location on multiple occasions, our towels (wash, face & body) in our room & the beach had visible previous user residue. At a traditional Ritz Carlton this would never be the case due to strict standards. Turks & Caicos is very expensive so we were surprised by this lapse in standard. The food was good, very expensive but good. Again, I can’t say enough about the service. Everyone we encountered, the beach guys, room service, front lobby attendants, the bartenders, the folks at the casino, and the nice lady who checked us in were all very customer focused.
Staff is so friendly, they give great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The Ritz catamaran is on site and easily accessible for tours. We went snorkeling and did the sunset cruise- both were amazing. The casino is fun and dealers are willing to teach you how to play as long as it’s not too busy; drinks are free.
