At The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey, colourful sunsets are accented by the masts of docked boats, and the interior design reflects a tranquility synonymous with southern California. Using its waterfront location as the backdrop, the hotel finds the perfect balance between business needs and personal pleasures. Brand-new meeting spaces, newly reimagined accommodations and the Sisley Spa are among the hotel’s most coveted amenities.

The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey delivers on so many different levels. We had the opportunity to stay during the last portion of our honeymoon in California. During our stay, we were more than blessed by the quality of service provided by the Ladies and Gentlemen of this location. The Club Lounge is a must during your stay. Attention to detail, fantastic food options, and great drinks can be found in them. In addition, everyone who works here goes above and beyond to ensure that you are treated properly and receive all the necessary attention. Our suite had a fantastic view of the Marina, so I would highly recommend booking a spacious suite (approximately 700 sq. ft.) during your stay to enjoy the comforts of this hotel. Also, I would recommend the Sisley Spa services, where you can access a steam room and have direct access to the heated pool and jacuzzi found outside. Finally, I need to take the time to recognize the hard work of the Ladies and Gentlemen in this location: Guest Services - James, Samuel Club Lounge - Crystine, Arely, Edgar, Mannia, and Adam Reservations - Bethany Management - Nicholas, Johnny Special thanks to Bethany, Crystine, Johnny, Arely, and Edgar. They all made us feel extra special, and we appreciated their willingness to extend a helping hand and make us laugh. We will make sure to return to this location soon.
Great service by staff. There was a power outage on thanksgiving evening and the restaurant did everything possible to keep the guests fed and happy. The property itself is average. Rooms are moderately sized , the age is showing a bit , they could use a refresh. Just felt like a typical nice Marriott stay, not quite up to a Ritz level hotel.
Stayed for a week in an Executive level room. Room was fine with decent sized bathroom & lovely view over the Marina. Executive Lounge was usual high Ritz Carlton standard with comfortable seating & excellent food available throughout the day. Unfortunately there were some unruly children, helping themselves to food, feet on chairs, running around . Also on one occasion a dog was brought into the lounge .Staff seemed to be reluctant to enforce the rules that were made clear when checking in. Pool area was pleasant & the young pool attendants worked very hard to please. Note - there are no decent restaurants near to the hotel
