The Chef Thaer and the staff was excellent! . We had a great dinner with delicious Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. Hospitality was the best. Definitely recommend to dine here. Amaseena is a great Restaurant.
This a brilliant hotel, worthy of its top reviews. We stayed 1 week with a toddler in a 1 bedroom suite, which is massive. All of the restaurants were really excellent - they surpassed our expectations by a long way. The only one we found a bit average (though still absolutely fine) was La Baie. That is also the adult only pool but we didn’t use it as it had either loud club music or football on all day. But there are two other pools that were very quiet even though kids can use them, so it didn’t bother us at all. All of the restaurants are child friendly (even those that suggest on the website they may not be!) and have actually interesting kids menus (like kids prawn tempura and chicken fried rice at Blue Jade). And the poolside service for a quick kids lunch is really useful. The kids facilities generally are superb - especially the shady shallow pool with slide and shaded sandy playground - and all the staff are so brilliant with children. The beach is great. Not exactly tropical paradise with lots of skyscrapers around and a runway for tiny planes dropping skydivers nonstop but that all added to the excitement for our 2 year old! The only negatives really were ridiculously loud club music from the beach bar starting at 5pm ish that seemed unnecessary, and noisy building work from a new skyscraper going up one side of the hotel. That didn’t bother us in the room as it’s well sound proofed but it’s a shame during the day. But it is an urban environment (around a very non-urban feeling hotel) so as long as you’re prepared for that there is nothing to disappoint.
Stayed here many times and it’s great! The staff is amazing and really kind and helpful! La Baie is our favorite restaurant at the hotel and Sanjoy is extremely welcoming! Highly recommend this hotel!
