The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest

Wonderful hotel! Welcomed by Jimmy:) He gave us a quick tour of the hotel and walked us to our room. He gave us a list of things to do and gave recommendations for 2 restaurants. We visited one and it was an excellent recommendation! Upon our return from dinner the first night, we were welcomed with a sweet card and some goodies left in our room from Jimmy! Everyone was very kind and attentive to our needs and always greeting us. Great hospitality!

We had a very comfortable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Budapest. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, who were both courteous and efficient. Although we arrived before the check-in time, they didn’t have any problem giving us a room (without ever mentioning the early check-in, which was a classy touch). They offered us a welcome glass of Champagne, OJ, or mimosa, which we gladly accepted. Sara kindly showed us to our room, and just as she was leaving a welcome amenity of sweets was delivered to us by another very friendly team member. Our room wasn’t huge but wasn’t small either, just the right size. It had a great view of the square and the top of St. Stephen’s Basilica. The glass seemed to be soundproof, and the curtains effectively blocked out any light in the morning. The bed was comfortable and came with plenty of pillows. We had breakfast at the lobby buffet and really enjoyed it, along with a selection from their a la carte menu. The staff was all extremely attentive. On our last afternoon, thanks to a later checkout (which was provided with no drama), we had a complimentary afternoon tea and cake at their lounge, where the staff was just as courteous and helped us select the perfect teas and cakes for our tastes. Finally, when we checked out Iryna was helpful and made herself available in case we had any issues with our bill (which we didn’t as everything was correct). I’d definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again someday.

We had the most amazing stay at the Ritz in Budapest for 4 nights. It was part of a bigger two week trip and we were looking forward to slowing down our pace and relaxing. Upon checkin Ravi Sambrekar the front desk manager greeted us warmly and ensured our room was ready for check in. He delighted us with a great view and upgrade due to my titanium status. It was much appreciated! In the restaurant for breakfast under the coupala Geri and Ferenc suggested a variety of coffees and dishes each morning! The lattes and mimosa and buffet spread was amazing. I think our room was on the 7th floor which made gym and pool and spa access a breeze! The massage at the hotel/ spa was out of this world! In the club lounge Balasz, Georgiii, Kata, Jasmin, Polina and Adele really made our lunches and dinners special! They went out of the way to help print things and provide some suggestions on day time activities! Dreaming of our next trip back!
