The Residences at Victoria Algarve 

Hire a car or make friends with a taxi driver. The Anantara is next door but the prices are not good value for money, it is a rich mans paradise. The residences has no breakfast facilities or bar out of season. It may be better in the summer but this is not for an out of season traveller

Stayed here with my partner and our three children aged 12, 10 and 6 for my 40th birthday. Very quiet apartment. Accommodation was a spacious 3 bedroom ground floor. This was cleaned daily and towels changed daily also if requested. There is nothing within walking distance so we opted to get taxis, we used Uber which is much cheaper than ordering a taxi from reception. We used the Lidl to buy food but there is also a n Aldi you can use. We ate at a few nights at the marina which has a lot of options of different restaurants. The beach is beautiful along the marina also. We visited the water park which is about a 15/20 drive away. The pools on the complex were clean and there was enough sun beds most days. We also used the pool in the hotel complex. We ate breakfast at the hotel complex which had many options to choose from. The only downside to our holiday was on our last night my 6 year old sons nike sandals and t-shirt were stolen from the poolside. We have no idea if this was a member of staff or visitors. We reported this to staff but we were leaving the next morning and it wasn’t returned. Overall nice quiet getaway.

Just incredible from the moment of arrival through to our early morning departure today. We cannot speak too highly of The Residences at Victoria, the Apartment (overlooking the golf course) or indeed every member of staff we encountered during our visit. Whilst it is some distance from Vilamoura we were fully aware of this prior to booking. The staff are exceptional - so professional, warm and welcoming. The shuttle service to and from the various Golf Courses was the BEST experienced by us over the years. We were so pleased with The Residences at Victoria that we have booked to return there again in April 2023. Thank you all for making our visit so memorable.
