Worst experience possible. The hotel had no hot water, no heat, no room service and no gym! This is a 3 star hotel at best. There are very few amenities. The place old and super dated. Like staying at an old Hilton.
We had a great experience. The staff was outstanding — polite and helpful. The room was beautiful, with a stunning view of Central Park. The location could not have been better. Breakfast in the restaurant was perfect.
How the mighty have fallen. I’ve been staying here for decades-since the four seasons. The room was in terrible state. The chair sunk a foot below when I sat down. When I looked down. I saw a huge clump of hair (see below). Later that day I saw the GM in the Lobby. Francois-Olivier Luiggi. I asked to speak to him. He said he was busy and asked me to wait. I did, for ten minutes. When he came back, I explained the situation and showed him the pictures. He said it was unacceptable and he would take care of it. The pleasantries were clearly a dismissal. Nothing was done to my knowledge. No apology note. Nothing. I have cancelled my centurion reservation for December.
