Clean, updated room with comfortable bed. Room was larger than other area hotels we stayed at. Great location, close to Times Square, theaters, infinite number of restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again
Stayed 2 w/end nights. Decided to splurge on a Executive King Suite. (1 BR w Sofa bd) It's large by NYC standards, but not efficiently laid out. I found there to be a lot of wasted space. 3 walk in closets for instance. The bedroom has a huge dresser with 9 drawers and it's own walk in - so at least one of the others is unnecessary. The biggest negative is the noise. Most times a suite goes deeper so the bedroom is furthest away from the entrance. This room, the bathroom is furthest away and the bedroom is next to the hall/next room. On the 9th floor not only could street noise be heard at times, but any time a door to the adjacent rooms was opened sounded like a door slamming in my own suite. I've stayed at multiple mid town hotels and never had an issue hearing street noise. The only other peeve is they knew I needed the sofa bed, but we got back after midnight and found there was no bedding. It took nearly 30 min for someone to bring it up and the sheets were no crisp but wrinkled as if they'd been crumpled in a hamper (they were clean). The good - Location is the best thing. A block from the ACE, NRQ & 123 lines each. Smack in the middle of theaters - right next to Chicago, Book of Mormon. And steps away from eateries in Time Square. There's normally a restaurant but it was being renovated during my stay. The continental breakfast is fine with pastry and yogurt and fruit. Also worth noting the prices were considerably less than other lower reviewed properties in the area.
The hotel is lovely, clean and is in a great central location. It’s on Broadway but we were never disturbed with any noise from outside. We chose this hotel as the room had a separate area for us to sit at night once the children were asleep, and it served us well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, we ate it every morning and whilst the area is small, we always got a table. The hotel stored our bags for us between checkout and taxi pick up, free of charge. The only negative is there was barely anything my husband could eat at breakfast as he was gluten free, so some more gluten free options would be appreciated by coeliacs.
