The One Barcelona GL

Such a wonderful experience at the One Barcelona! Our first time in Barcelona and we were very pleased with this hotel and the staff. First of all, we booked a corner junior suite which. I highly recommend if you can swing it. Great location, very close to Pasea De Grazie and all the great shopping and dining. The staff was incredible, when we asked for pillows and water, they came up right away! The ladies at the restaurant accommodated all of our requests at breakfast and service was speedy and super friendly. The concierge team was super helpful as well, finding us a great restaurant for dining last minute. The decor of the rooms is definitely a 5 star quality. Good comfy bed, nice linens and all the amenities you would expect at a 5 star. Only minor thing is the street noise, but the windows did a good job of drowning out most of it. If you’re sensitive to noise like I am, you can request to have room on the other side which is quiet. Also highly recommend booking a massage if f you can at the spa. Cute spa and the plunge pool is a plus. Rooftop outdoor pool is tiny but as expected in Barcelona. We came up a few times to have a drink after dinner at the rooftop bar, the service was wonderful and ambiance was great. Highly recommend and I’m a very picky traveler ;)

A great location, exceptional Concierge and a beautiful rooftop. Some of the rooms are a bit quirky and poorly designed but the hotel overall is very nice. We appreciated the endless water and Nespresso! Entering the room through the bathroom is unique and what the designers thought was a good use of space, is just awkward. When accessing the closet, the door blocks the entrance to the bedroom, making unpacking/packing and getting dressed a bit difficult.

I had an incredible stay at One Barcelona. From the moment I arrived, every interaction I had with the staff—whether it was the concierge, front desk, bellman, waitress, or housekeeping—made me feel like a truly valued guest. I had been in touch with them a lot before my trip to get advice on tours and book restaurant reservations, and every call was handled with such care and professionalism. The hotel’s location on Passeig de Gracia is perfect, like staying on 5th Avenue in NYC, surrounded by high-end shops and tons of great restaurants. The Mood Rooftop at the hotel is a busy spot with fantastic food and stunning views of the Sagrada Familia. Unfortunately, I got really sick from something I ate outside the hotel, but the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond, cleaning up after me, offering me hot tea, and even allowing a late checkout so I could rest. Their kindness made all the difference. The concierge gave me great recommendations throughout my stay, and I loved that they greeted me by name every time. The room was so cozy, with an amazing rainfall shower and a super comfortable bed. If you're looking for a luxurious and memorable experience in Barcelona, I highly recommend One Barcelona. The service, the location, and the overall vibe are outstanding.
