Nothing to show.
Best location, close to the center of the city. Very clean. Easy to reach by all the transport methods. Rooms are relatively small but tidy, with good facilities. We didn't use hotel restaurant this time...
I stayed at The Mandeville for 6 nights. My stay was fantastic. It exceeded all my expectations. Every single member of staff was superb. I travel extensively and have never come across such helpful and pleasant staff that only want to please. Each and every one of them was so welcoming, always charming and helpful. Special mention must be made of the staff I had dealings with. These are front desk staff Od, Ling, Monica and Opi, Porters Charlie and Ken and Concierge Carlos. Nothing was too much for any of the staff. I stayed in a Superior Plus room. Housekeeping kept the room very clean and well maintained. This room is exceptionally spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Beds and linen were very comfy. I was impressed with size of bath towels as often this is where hotels often fall short, excuse the pun. The aircon was superb. Cupboard space was ample. I absolutely love the location of this hotel. I could not have hoped for better. Restaurants and coffee shops are “a stones throw away”. Great shopping is on your doorstep. It came to my attention that not all rooms have plugs next to the bed which for me is a big issue. This is my only complaint. In this day and age it is very important to have a plug next to the bed. Thankfully my room type had a plug by the dressing table near enough to put it on my side table as I have a 2m charging cable. So I would confirm this when booking and checking in. Well done to management on such a wonderful selection of staff. I will most certainly be returning to this very special hotel.
The stay was for 2 nights with 12 collegues. Hotell is a bit 'old' but with charm, and not worn down. Room was 'normal', but included coffe machine which might be nice for those that like coffee. Everything seemed clean. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. I must admit I enjoy all the small shampoo tubes, shoe mittens, etc - and the biscuits in the conference room was very good as well as the Danish pastry. It is hard to find a better location if you want to stay close to Oxford Street, and the Bond sub-way station.
