Treated like royalty. Came with a 2 year old son and the staff was so friendly to them. Agus and the team really made our stay enjoyable too. We were given free walk in the morning which showed us some of the culture of Balinese. The shuttle bus was very convenient to check out the monkey sanctuary and restaurants. . We were amazed to see the staff not just only came once to clean our room but also “set” the room for sleep. The air con was pre set and the drapes were closed. We have stayed at high end hotels before but never treated this well before. Especially from this price point. Would highly recommend.

From the minute I arrived I was greeted by happy and helpful staff. Shoutout to Agus in reception who handled all the people that arrived together with ease and made everyone feel welcomed. And to Merry who I met at dinner and breakfast who made me feel at ease dining solo. Everyone is greeted with a face towel and a welcome drink. Free activities every day like a walk around the local village where you get to see a traditional Balinese house, the local rice fields and coffee plantation and temple. A nice touch to the stay. I stayed in the deluxe pool villa room which was exactly like the pictures. Bed was a little hard to my liking but definitely nothing to complain about. A lot of options with breakfast and a good serving. The food was good during my stay here. I had a facial at the in-house spa and had a wonderful experience. Overall would recommend the Sankara to anyone visiting Ubud. Whilst a tad bit out of town there are hourly free shuttles that will take you the 10 minutes into town.

It was a great stay, would revisit once again Breakfast could have been with more options with unlimited times for the guest to choose and eat, otherwise it has nice ambience, room and service with very sweet staff
