Rooms are what they are but clean and modern. Staff was accommodating in every way and we felt very welcomed. Convenient to underground line that goes just about everywhere directly that a tourist might want to go. Coffee shops, restaurants and a great store with tons of pre-packaged and fresh food items just across the road. special thank you to the night reception team Tejas and others for sorting our TV and AC out as we were having some issues setting these up

Really dissapointed I'm afraid. We have been staying since 2006, on and off. This was our last time though. Room was mostly OK, though tired. Bed was comfy though. But the food / bar offering was rubbish. Evening meals in the main restaurant are basically posh KFC, however 'fast' food it isn't as the service was slow.. Breakfast is basically a choice of eggs and bread. We gave up and ate elsewhere for the rest of our stay. But by far the worst aspect was the bar being turned into a techno / trance nightclub on the Thursday and Friday evenings. On the Friday the loud music continued until midnight, and kept us awake even though we were on the third floor. That was the final straw, the camel's back is now broken. So goodbye Hoxton hotel, got some good memories, but it's over between us.

The Hoxton Shoreditch is currently my favourite place for an overnight business trip to London. Comfortable, centrally located and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Always great to be made welcome on arrival - greeted by Angelica on reception - a really nice person, took an interest and very helpful.
