The Hoxton, Holborn is a buzzing home in the heart of London, a stone’s throw from the West End. Covent Garden, Oxford Street and the British Museum are all in easy walking distance from the hotel, along with great local eateries and some of the city’s most charming old streets.

The hotel is catering toward the tech crowd. The crowded lobby full of those on laptops, coffee and avocado toast. All reminders of the silicon valley FAANG company transplants. Beds are springy (uncomfortable) although I was pleasantly surprised there is a hotel that provide a King size bed. It is situated in an area with restaurants and bars but nothing memorable. I booked the hotel for King bed and location close to the office.
I stayed in a Cosy room which was the perfect size. I might try the next one down next time I visit. The bed was really comfortable and I requested a higher floor with a quiet room. It meant there wasn’t a view, which was fine for me, and the room was very quiet even though it was opposite one of the staircases. The rooms are chic and the bathrooms are a great size with two kinds of shower options. The restaurant serves a straightforward and very tasty breakfast menu. Staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for accessing central London on foot and close to Tottenham Court Road and Holborn stations for venturing further. Only downside is the cafe is always so incredibly busy that you can never get a seat (not in the two days and few times I tried anyway) - only a downside if you are using the hotel as a base to work from, as I was. I had a great stay and will be back again.
Great location, handy for theatres, restaurants etc. Quiet hotel room with quirky fittings and a great nights sleep. Service excellent from friendly staff. Food at breakfast and dinner excellent. The foyer in the week is well used by groups of various sorts giving it a real buzz. Which was quite refreshing to see.
