Stayed for a few nights with my sister and my son and his girlfriend. Wanted somewhere nice but reasonably priced as I was paying. This fitted the bill perfectly. Great location for a short break ..near to good bars and restaurants. Pool area was fabulous, food delicious. Great vibe and value.
I think this is a great hotel and perfect for a stay in Ibiza. The pool area & atmosphere is perfect meaning you don't really need to go looking elsewhere. I wasn't expecting great food but it was so that's a bonus and the drinks (cocktails) probably the best I've tasted. Location is good, small beach on the doorstep which gives you access to the water taxi (2euro) into San Ant Bay. We got the taxi at sunset time which was a great experience. Only grudge is that I echo some of the comments regarding reception. I wouldn't describe the team as rude, I'd say more unnecessary awkward. I can remember asking if I could quickly grab a pool towel but i was told to wait until a group of 12 checked in with each paying individually. 35 mins later the receptionist grabbed the towel from under the desk and passed it me - head in hands :). Dont let that put you off, its a great stay with a perfect mix of ages, couples and small groups.
Hotel was quite a bizarre experience to be honest! As many know, there is a shortage of taxi's in ibiza. The Receptionist at the hotel refused to arrange taxis on some days (which is fine), but then other days would say they are more than happy to call us one and one would come in the matter of minutes - their stories were inconsistent (it was quite strange) and left us on some days having no taxi to our destination as they just wouldnt phone us one,.. we were unsure of what the actual process was around taxis at the hotel. Our hotel room which was meant to be sea view, was overlooking a carpark and had ants in the bathroom and the aircon leaked onto the floor. Our room was also next to the lifts of the hotel which meant sleep was not an option as the walls were paper thin - we got woken up every hour of the night to people coming home from their evenings screaming and singing. The cleaners (who were really nice!) would also ignore the 'do not clean signs' on the doors and walk into the room at 8am to clean, waking us up. The main waitress at the hotel was really rude to the Spanish staff and it was uncomfortable to watch, it seemed like she purposely tried to find something wrong in things they did when they were all actually really sweet and just trying to do their jobs - it wasnt nice to witness at all. Music got banned at the hotel on our stay which was another bizarre occurrence which never got addressed to the guests of the hotel, we were just told music was no longer allowed as the hotel will get fined. If you want a relaxing, luxurious stay i really wouldn't recommend this hotel.
