The Sugar Bay Club Hotel is located in the lively Frigate Bay area of St. Kitts and our property is set amidst five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the Atlantic Ocean. We offer four restaurants on property, a duty free liquor store, a souvenir shop, an Express Mart and two fresh water swimming pools.

The online pictures don't prepare you for the reality; book elsewhere
Our oceanfront room had a spectacular view of the debris-strewn, unwalkable beach. No effort was made to clean it up. Our toilet took numerous tries at flushing before it worked and hot water was generally lukewarm at best. Poor internet service made email difficult and the TV streaming was impossible. There is no ice machine, although we were told ice was available at two nearby restaurants! No pool staff was available to supply umbrellas. Other nearly resorts have much more to offer.

Nice looking online but there are many concerns before booking
Everything was ok except for the beach and amenities. No amenties No workout center or club room the beach disgusting littered with trash no one cleas the beach. If you enjoy privacy the cabana glass door have no curtains Forget walking in your undies. Think before you book here

Fantastic Space to "Live" For A Stay
Stayed here for a week during Christmas Time. While it wasn't the 5-star luxury hotel experience that you could pay much more for on the island: for a week stay, combined with the price and overall accommodation - it was perfect. The beach right outside is said to not be "swimmable" - by Caribbean standards perhaps - but is still better/"safer" than anywhere I've seen on the Pacific Coast of California. All of the other beaches are easy to get to as well, and for my mom and I personally - we did not have a problem with a lightly populated resort during the winter COVID surge in the US. It's less of a romantic getaway - I would treat it more like getting a great AirBnB cottage on the beach with space for the family, that is connected to a larger development. The people working there are all fantastic - Narender is incredibly attentive. I recommend it for travelers actually looking to see St. Kitts, instead of a beach resort-only trip.
