This hotel is definitely not as advertised. Three star at the most, not 5 star.. free WiFi? NO A/I Only till 10pm. Drinks served in plastic cups unless you give a good tip then you can have a glass!!Choice of restaurants? NO once per stay for ala carte. Otherwise just buffet Whoever gave 5 stars has not been to a proper 5 star hotel. We are staying here now.We booked a superior room and we we're shown to a room that only had one very small window mezzanine bedroom and bathroom downstairs. When I went back to reception I was told no other rooms available. And told to return the next day as no supervisor available. I refused and we were given another room that wasn't much better. Right by the pool bar which is the only bar open!! So very noisy children running around until 11pm On returning once again to reception the next day. I was told that we could not change rooms again as we had already changed once. Again no supervisor to authorise it. Reception staff are not at all interested in guests. We have resorted to going out of an evening. Never again, waste of money.

Sure! Here's how you can structure your review in English, covering both the negative and positive aspects: --- **Negative Aspects:** Firstly, the food was quite disappointing. It was nearly the same every day, with very minimal changes from one day to the next. In fact, 90% of the food was identical, even for breakfast, which was exactly the same throughout the entire week we stayed. On top of that, the taste of the food was not great; it felt like cafeteria food, made from the cheapest ingredients. In the snack bar and kids' food section, everything seemed to be made from frozen food, which isn't very healthy, especially for children. Another downside was the ice cream. It was only available during the main meals, while in most all-inclusive resorts, you can usually find it at the snack bar as well, which is important considering the high temperatures when you need something to cool down. The beer was okay, but the soft drinks tasted strange due to the tap water used. The alcoholic beverages and cocktails were clearly made from the cheapest spirits, and it was noticeable. A major disadvantage was that you had to pay extra for Wi-Fi and for access to the safe, and these charges were on a per-day basis. Accessibility was also a concern. If you're traveling with a young child or someone with disabilities, the access ramps are very difficult to use. There were only two water slides, and they operated for just three hours a day—two hours from 11 AM to 1 PM and one hour from 5 PM to 6 PM. Regarding room access, they only provide one key card, and if you need a second one, you have to pay for it. The entertainment was heavily geared towards French speakers, which was a big disadvantage for non-French speakers. Moreover, there seemed to be a distinction between guests, as French guests had different colored wristbands, which felt like a form of segregation. On the day of departure, they cut off our wristbands and restricted our access to the main meals, allowing only access to the snack bar. Additionally, both the hotel reception and the restaurant where we had our meals were unbearably hot, as the air conditioning was not functioning. **Positive Aspects:** The only good things I can mention are related to the accommodation itself. The room conditions were decent, and while the cleanliness wasn't the best, it wasn't terrible either. The main issue seemed to be that the hotel was understaffed, and they couldn't keep up with the demand. --- This review highlights the key issues you experienced while also mentioning the positive aspects.

At best, the hotel is average by European standards. To be fair, Gouves looks to be suffering a little post COVID/ Greek economy. We Stayed in a junior suite which was actually good and had clearly been updated recently, overlooking one of the pools. Rest of hotel is decidedly tired and needs cleaning, tidying, updating, but it is in a good position, close to the beach and some reasonable bars/restaurants locally.” Evening entertainment…. Lets not comment. Far better for the hotel to Re-think this. Could be massively Improved!! All inclusive deal in my opinion is poor value. - Volume not quality based - Mixed quality food. - Breakfast ok - lunch/pool bars are junk food. - Evening meal variable but broad choice, but its like a canteen - Crockery and cutlery cheap and nasty - all inclusive drinks very low quality * if you want to stay drunk for 7 days and don’t care… its ideal, Self service wine/beer not a good combination. People drinking at 10am and partying hard well into the night. Many people using the pools at 1-3am. Great when I was 18, not with my 15yr daughter!! Best time…… 7am - 10am - quiet and peaceful everywhere. A complete absence of staff away from the reception, we found that odd. People can walk in from the road. Dirty swimming pools, green algae and far too shallow at 80cm depth, dangerous in my opinion, sharp edged tiles, both my daughter and I had minor cuts. Cleaning staff are friendly and cheery, did a good job 👍 Spa - costly and very low rent. Gym is a mess. At the end of our stay, the hotel stored our luggage and provided shower and dressing area once checked out, which was good and meant we could travel home relaxed. Overall, not terrible but as a regular international traveller, it is of a lower standard than you would find elsewhere in western europe.
