Spent 14 days at this resort in a sea grape suite. Beautiful location at the quieter end of Grand Anse. The staff are civil and courteous. The food is prepared and presented to a high standard. The suites are well appointed. Slept in lots of hotel beds and this was the most comfortable. All very peaceful, relaxing, friendly, congenial. Paradise really.

We stayed at Spice Island for our honeymoon - best decision! It was such a peaceful resort and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a beach front room with a porch and patio that were literally right on the beach. We enjoyed having a cappuccino on our porch every morning before going to breakfast; listening to and watching the beautiful water. The beach is in great condition and my husband loved that we could go from our beach chairs to snorkeling in the water in front of us without any hassle. We also loved the food and appreciated the variety in the dinner menu at Oliver's every night. Being tired from our wedding, we opted for room service a couple of nights and the service and selection was just as wonderful. This really was an ideal choice for a honeymoon. We also did a couple of excursions while there - a sunset cruise and half day island tour (go with Mandoo! He's the best!). It was fun getting to see more of Grenada and go inland to the rainforest. We were lucky enough to see the mona monkeys, too! I'm so happy we stumbled upon Spice Island Beach Resort in our search for an idyllic honeymoon. We have already recommended it to many people and would go again in a heart beat!

We were greeted at the airport by Derick in the resort’s BMW750. From there it just got better and better. The service (from the front desk to the bar to the dining areas) was excellent. We stayed in one of the Seagrape beachside suites. The room, linens, views, etc were pretty wonderful. Weather was 85 F during the day and 75 F at night, dry and perfect. The bar, all dining areas, etc were all outside. There is a dive shop towards the end of the beach that I used several times, super well run and the diving was great. The drinks were included and excellent. The food portions were perfect and hats off to the chef and the staff. Really high quality ingredients and super presentation. The maintenance of the resort was almost unlike any resort that we have stayed. Usually there is deferred maintenance in these island resorts, not here. We have not been at a resort (we have been staying in private houses scattered around the Caribbean, on super yachts, etc.) since Covid-19 so it’s been a few years. It was a wonderful stay. We usually stay at resorts like Jumby Bay, Parrott Cay, Curtain Bluffs, Peter Island, Little Dix, Sandy Lane, etc and Spice Island is definitely in that class of resorts.
