Sol Costa Atlantis Tenerife

It was a fantastic Holiday at Hotel Sol Costa Atlantis. I usually avoid giving 5 stars rating, especially when there were some minor issues, however, all the pros of this amazing Hotel outweigh all the possible cons I could think of. Abdl the administrator of this facility was the best man to help with anything you might need to ensure you will have the most relaxing and enjoyable experience you could ever possibly want. The restaurant of the Hotel and the service there are just outstanding! The quality and versatility of the foods available every day are mind-boggling. Every day there is a different kind of cuisine. Of course, some dishes are repetitive, but there is such a great selection that I did not find myself bored with whatever was offered at the Restaurant of this Hotel. I highly recommend getting a full board for this Holiday, so you can spend the rest of the time exploring the city of Coste De la Cruz and the island of Tenerife. I want also to mention the cool Bar presented at the Hotel with the most charismatic bartender(forgot his name, but he is working there for 8+ years now, so I am sure you will have a chance to enjoy his hospitality upon your visit). The reception is gorgeous and the receptionists have good English. Every time any help was needed it was delivered in the blink of an eye. Altogether I have the most beautiful bouquet 💐 of warm 🔅 and memorable moments. It is a place I will be coming back to definitely and I hope Hotel Sol Costa Atlantis will live up in its glory until the moment I will have my children to give them a taste of good life in this God-blessed place.

Sat by the pool, tree guys flying huge branches above everyone sat on sun beds. Wood chippings all over everyone’s belongings, wood chippings in the clean towels. Staff non compliant wasn’t interested in helping. Floor is covered with branches, wood etc. Wouldn’t return if you paid me, food in restaurant is cold and un covered.

The Good: Great location, with a sea view room you can hear and see the ocean. Perfect. Puerto de la Cruz is a lovely area to visit. Cleanliness, the housekeeping team do a fantastic job of keeping the place looking spotless. The Bad: 4* this is not - having read the reviews I was expecting this. If I’m honest, the price reflects this and so is arbitrary but worth a mention. The amenities - No tea making / fridge / safe as standard (in a 4*, I would say this is a basic in all rooms). The lifts - again, read the reviews. But don’t underestimate how annoying it is to walk up and down the stairs after the third or fourth lift has passed, full. The breakfast - The ‘hot’ food is cold. There is only one chef preparing eggs/omelette/pancakes The pool area - Sun goes behind the building by 2pm. Tired hotel - It needs some money spending on the hotel to bring it up to a decent standard. Furniture and bathroom dated. The Ugly: Service is absolutely awful, you feel like a burden to the staff. Bar staff rude, will happily serve the Spanish guests as a priority, regardless of wait time of other guests. Many left the bar because they were being ignored. I brought an issue to the attention of the reception team. They were not at all interested. When I checked out I explained I wouldn’t come back, again no interest as to why. In my view, spend you money on other 3* hotels in the area, or spend that bit more to find a better 4*. Avoid this one though, it needs some serious work.
