Sofitel Dubai The Palm

Mostly a good experience at this hotel! It was very clean everywhere. The pool was nice and staff were proactive at removing towels from loungers if they weren’t being used. Service around the pool was a little slow but the weather was so hot and I felt sorry for the staff working in the intense heat. There were lots of lifeguards who kept everyone safe. The Porter House restaurant and the Chinese restaurant had the most amazing food and service! Highly recommend! The Manava buffet restaurant had plenty of selection to choose from (Including vegetarian) with good service. The housekeeping staff were top notch, thank you! The gym was spacious, very clean with lots of great equipment 👌🏼 It was annoying there was no buffet restaurant for lunch included in the full board option and that soft drinks or water were also not included in any mealtimes. The check in desk is too small for the size of the hotel and not enough staff there. We spent a long time waiting to be seen after a considerable amount of time travelling. The arrivals and departures at the front of the hotel was incredibly chaotic and felt really stressful. The best customer service was from Subash who makes the cocktails at The Porter House bar and from Roslin with the best deep tissue sports massage I have ever had! 🫶🏻 I don’t have a Google account to leave a review there so please do pass on our thanks and comments to both of these special people!!

This is the first time I stay in this hotel for vacation... It so nice place, I enjoy a lot. The pool, the restaurant, the beach all perfect...(just the problem is end the time quite early, 11pm for restaurant and 2am for Beach Bar) All the staff very friendly, take care the guest. Aggrey staff give us a drinks and talk friendly way during waiting and some people more(sorry I can't remember all name) Will come back here again ❤️

We have been going back to the Sofitel every year now in the summer for quite some time. The resort is fantastically maintained and the food at all of the fine dining restaurants never disappoints. One thing that makes the experience is the staff. Everyone is always so accommodating and helpful, especially the F&B Manager who always looks after us. The rooms are very spacious and clean and housekeeping are immaculate. I highly recommend this resort, the best I’ve been to.
