Glad to say my family and I had the most wonderful enlightening experience at Sheraton Maldives on the new year! Not only is this island overwhelmingly beautiful, but the staff and from every single worker, we were constantly greeted with smiles and warm welcomes that truly elevated our experience. Special thanks to recreation and fitness trainer Eranga for his kind hospitality and chef Chamara, Kalum, Sampath, and Chamika for their incredible services, polite nature, and exquisite fine dining. This experience is not one to forget and Sheraton Maldives is definitely an island we would come back to again!

Is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.. Was so peaceful and clean and from the moment they meet you at the airport you fall in love with this hotel ...I wanna give a full mark for the staff those who meet me in the airport, the guys who pick me up on the boat to and from the airport and all the stuff inside the hotel they were so humble , generous cool.. you never see anyone of them sad or complaining... About the rooms so if you are with a family check something designed the restaurants and swimming pools, ocean villas I'm far from the restaurants area and the lobby , so, this is the only minus which think it needs to be reviewed by the hotel management , is they should arrange some private transport such as bicycles for each villa the distance is far walking it takes like 10 to 15 minutes walking till you reach the restaurants.. They are electric cars but you have to book them and wait for them about 10 minutes till they come... this is absolutely not practical. Bring the kids club it's called adventure room.. Opinion it's Paul and needs some excitement for the kids...the food was wonderful .. In my opinion take the all included option... i have a special thanks and gratitude to the wonderful chef YERLAN, TWIVANKA and SANJAY.. very thankful for the waitress ALI and all the others.

This was our first time in the Maldives and we stayed 5-nights for our honeymoon. PROS: - Only 20 minutes from Male via speed boat. One of my criteria in choosing resorts was not having to take a seaplane, or lose another day due to travel. Roundtrip transfers was complimentary which was awesome. - Cheaper of the Maldives resorts for overwater bungalows with pool and all inclusive add-on. They also have a lot of honeymoon perks if you can provide marriage certificate of 6 months or less. We got free dessert, champagne, complimentary sunset dolphin cruise, couples massage, and 30-minute photo session - Easy booking, check-in and check-out. Very seamless, well organized, staff were helpful. I did not have to worry about anything, down to the luggage. - Food was good for all-inclusive standards. They have a good variety of restaurants to choose from (buffet with rotating menu, Chinese, Indian, American). We did not feel the need to pay extra to go to the 2 other exclusive restaurants in the island (Sea Salt and Baan Thai). However, we did avail of their Destination Dining Valentines Day special. Food was ok, but the experience and vibe was pretty magical (and is what you pay for). - Spa was great! Our therapists were skilled and worked hard to make us comfortable and relaxed. The spa was located on a separate mini island, so that was a very nice vibe. CONS: (not enough to be deal breakers) - No sushi - Expensive if you go ala carte (but so are ALL other resorts in the Maldives) - well maintained resort but you could tell it was not new. Some tiles chipped/falling - fitness area was hot, weak air conditioning - not a CON for us, but they are a family friendly resort, and for some honeymooners that might not be ideal STAFF SHOUTOUTS: They deserve recognition for going above and beyond: Ali and Ibrahim at Anchorage Bar; Birendra and Aleem at Feast; Raji and Asif at Masala Hut; Wizam from Destination Dinners; Mustho at Extreme Maldives; Shafeeg by the pool; Tejesh at Kakuni Hut; Tashi and Dawa at the Spa; Shafau at reception.
