Sheraton Grand London Park Lane

We can’t express enough how wonderful the team at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane is. While I think I could thank all of you by name, I don’t dare forget anyone so instead know that we send our thanks and appreciation to the WHOLE TEAM! Every time we return we are welcomed with such warmth, professionalism and grace. This year was no exception and we had an absolutely wonderful Christmas holiday with all of you. Beautiful room, delicious food and outstanding service in all of the restaurants and in the lounge, fantastic concierge, the best door staff and an amazing front desk team! Keep up the great work team & we will see you all again this year!

Really amazing hotel, the location is very closed to many attraction of London, and the staff are very helpful and kindly person. Especially, Michelle, Nadia and Alessandra. Positive, active smiley face any time even with there work. Congratulations Sheraton hotel, and thank you for every things

4 night stay. Gold Bonvoy Member Arrival experience excellent. No fuss and checked in without hassle. Informed that club lounge under renovation but facilities available at Mercante instead. Would be helpful to have a summary sheet setting out offering (did not know about afternoon tea) but no problem. Club guest room: again excellent. Spacious and quiet. Located on 7th floor we had a dual aspect to the London skyline. Breakfast @ Mercante: we thought it was from 630am so arrived at 650am. We were told to sit anywhere. No offers for coffee and when we enquired we were directed to the coffee machine. Food (bacon and sausage ) was room temp which was a pity as looking forward to a good cooked breakfast. Discovered subsequently that service started from 7am. Felt bad starting early on the food. Did not know. Doormen and concierge: excellent and welcoming. Confident and proactive. Smith and Whistle: great bar man. Helpful and cheerful. Club lounge : manager alberta was lovely and helpful. We saw it after renovations. Some of the staff were new and did not know where the male restrooms were located. Internet: really poor for Marriott. Patchy and was on the phone it IT services at least twice on one of the days to activate my Wi-Fi address. They had to take the details of my laptop , android phone and iPhone and reset everything. Promised to investigate and resolve but no feedback over the 4 nights. Roamed instead. Evening cocktails: on each day the Peroni and the IPA were not served chilled in the ice bucket. The bucket had ice but the room temp bottles were just resting on top. Seems very first world to observe this but a cold beer is a request after a long day out in London. :) Overall : good solid base for London. Great club lounge and nice rooms. Great front line staff. Some of the juniors just need a bit more training and confidence. WIR : likely
