Shangri La Hotel

The Shangri La Dubai is such a fascinating property, with exceptional service, great pools and fabulous food. The staff are just simply the best! The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a huge comfortable bed and the best beautiful view of the Dubai skyline and the Burj . The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at the hotel. Each and every staff member ensured our stay was perfect. The chef’s were outstanding; we have very particular dietary preferences, my husband is vegan and this can at times become very frustrating. The staff in the restaurants and the Horizon club ensured that his needs were very well catered. If you have any dietary needs just let the team know and they will cater accordingly. Our daughter lives in the UAE so we will most definitely be staying again next time we are in town. Thank you to everyone from the bell boys to the management team X

You have to visit here This will be my 3rd time staying at the Shangri- La Abu Dhabi and the standard never drops All the staff here are fantastic at their job and make you feel so welcome The beach area is so well maintained and no need to rush for a sunbed there are plenty . The staff that maintain the Beach area are so helpful , especially Hassam and a female Recreation member whose name I cannot remember but she was so lovely . The Pool bar and Amalfi bar are fantastic headed by the great Kamal and his team Dhan Manly Jayson and a few more . Nothing is too much to ask especially if you’d prefer a cocktail they do not have on the menu . These people are a true credit to the Shangri-la brand. As a lady who usually doesn’t like Buffet style eating SOFRA has certainly changed my mind . They have themed nights where you will have the best Meats and Seafood you’ve ever had . If you are lucky you will be served by the legend Dickson, nothing is too much for this man. He moves around unnoticed until you need him and all of a sudden he is there. The team at the egg station are fantastic. If you are wanting a change from SOFRA then Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard is also fantastic if you like French cuisine. Beautiful glass of champagne with the meal. Excellent service…… We are excited to return next year !
