Lovely friendly hotel with roof top pool, bar and Spa. The rooms were spacious and quality though not luxurious. Roof top pool and bar were closed, as it was November, but nice bar in reception area serving drinks and light meals. Also a lovely sunny terrace area with sofas and tables. We used the Spa (€37.50 for 2) which was amazing! Pools, Turkish bath, sauna and whirlpools. Absolutely gorgeous experience. The staff were amazing and so friendly, it was a really lovely experience staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this last week. We booked a standard room through Jet2Holidays. Our room, 422, was a little dated but well fitted out and a really good size. A very good point was that the toilet was off the bathroom giving more privacy for users. Our room overlooked a carpark, but what the heck! We don't spend a lot of time in the room, so a balcony with a view didn't really matter. Other rooms are available with better views, but this didn't matter to us. The hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast, not dinner. This may have been because it was 'off season?' However, they did serve bar meals in the bar at dinner time. We had a bar meal one evening and it was very nice and reasonably priced too. Breakfast was really good. A wide choice of hot/cold foods available (except porridge). The egg counter even served eggs benedict to order, or a smoked salmon version. There is a fresh orange juice machine there too serving lovely, fresh orange juice and Bucks Fizz was available also. The outdoor pool was closed for the out-of-season. They have an indoor spa available at 25 euros pp for 1.5hrs., bookable in advance. We didn't use this facility but did look around and it looked very good. All the staff we came into contact with, were very helpful and polite. The hotel is situated on the main road between Marbella and Puerto Banus. It was a 20min walk to the old town and 'orange Sq' where there are lots of bars/restaurants. It's also only a 5min walk to the beach. Very close to the hotel was a restaurant on the beach, Corocoro. We went there for tapas one evening. It was the best tapas that I've ever had and was reasonably priced too, again with super service. The hotel has 4* on the outside. Jet2Holidays class it as 3* plus. It was tremendous value, as far as we were concerned and we would thoroughly recommend it!
Great hotel, very well placed in the city, right next to the exhibition centre. The staff is exceptional always willing to help and find solutions for your best comfort. Really close to the beach as well which is very good to go for a run.
