Not usually one to write reviews but felt compelled following our stay. There are a lot of things to like about this place but it is let down by the finer details and ridiculous rules. The majority of the staff are friendly but not all. The customer service at front desk is lacking. Janina, particularly rude, unhelpful and lacking the desire to provide any level of decent customer service. Disorganised, unhelpful and genuinely left me with a bad feel about the place. Had the opportunity to turn things around on my second encounter with her, however, just compounded my first experience. Rude, unhelpful and unwilling. Room not ready on arrival (16:00), left waiting till after 17:00 before could access room. No apology, no good will, no nothing. Just a blank expression. When I eventually got into room, wasn’t the room I booked, bed configuration twin when booked king. The response, room configuration on request only and not assured. No desire to resolve the issue, got a call back and told nothing they could do. Checking the hotel website their were alternative rooms available for booking. Let the issue slide as couldn’t be bothered with further conflict. Towels, no towels available at the adult pool, told I had to walk to the beach to get them or bring from the room. Not consistent with star rating nor expected. Allowed one towel only. Told I had to go to reception if I wanted another towel. Strange. Water. No bottled water stocked at any bar. Told by the bar staff that the tap water is fine to drink. When I explained that it was my preference and would prefer bottled water, again, told I had to go to reception to get bottled water. Bar staff became argumentative with me telling me that the ice was made from the same water. I wasn’t aware I had to justify my preference. Requested water from reception, limited to one bottle at a time. Very odd. Witnessed the bar staff refilling grey goose bottle with local spirit at the end of the night. Cutting corners in this way is disappointing, if they don’t want to stock grey goose, simply don’t stock it, don’t try and deceive people. Paid $300 for two guests to join us for the day, reception unwilling to charge this to my room, despite having preauth on my credit card. Demanded payment up front. I had no problem with paying but again, just really strange rules. Unable to get beds round the pool when they came due to the serial bed reservers who must get up early to put out their towels and disappear for the day. When asking for assistance, there was none, despite signs saying reserving not allowed, staff turn a blind eye and beds were left unoccupied but with property on them for the majority of the day. Housekeeping. Frustrating again, requested extra towels, told was only allowed 2 towels per room. Told I had to go to reception to get more. Who wants to keep making these trips to reception on holiday? Knocked on the door 3 times prior to 10:30 to carry out cleaning. Explained the first time that I would need another hour, clearly this didn’t fit with their schedule. Overall the resort is generally nice, well located and maintained, however, I definitely wouldn’t return. It’s a shame as has the potential to be super.

What a nice little boutique hotel. So clean and welcoming. I would go back in a heart beat. Some suggestions- young children need to grab their breakfast twice if they eat early. Bit of a gap till lunch. The majority of the staff are superb- David went out of his way to find strawberry ice cream for my grand daughter, Shonlea went and found fresh aloe for my daughters sun rash. Love the magnetic scrabble board and the pool table. Great family fun.

This is a solid 4 star hotel. There have been a lot of recent detailed reviews so will summarise our thoughts and opinions bearing in mind no hotel is perfect so identification of any negatives does not deter from the fact that this is a generally excellent resort. However, little niggles do have an impact. Positives: Excellent staff. Good bedrooms and bathrooms with nice sea views. Housekeeping efficient. Seven bars all with good choices and service. Nice beach areas. Reasonable choice of restaurants and snack bars. Did not feel crowded in spite of being full. Close to airport. All hotel facilities available even after check out, which is welcome as most UK flights leave in the evening. Negatives Breakfast was disappointing with not much choice especially in Aqua Terra, the Bajan alternative. Dinner was best in Cerulean but portions, especially starters were quite small. Lunch time service could be slow. Limited choice of wine, which became evident after the first couple of days. A lot of the sun beds were in a very poor state of repair especially at Tipsy beach where there was a shortage. Pools were quite small, especially the adult one. No robes/slippers in the rooms.
