The Hotel was in a lovely setting, there were steps leading down to the beach which were not too steep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well presented. Dining room well laid out, with a good selection and choice of food.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this fantastic hotel. We had booked a superior room but then upgraded to Royal Elite as it was a special birthday treat. Pleased we did this as had concerns about pool area. Royal Elite gives you a sea view room with large balcony, Toweling robes and slippers in your room, separate sunbed terrace which has four-poster sun beds and easy access to the beach. Also own private bar on terrace and in hotel where all the drinks are top shelf brands. The whole hotel is spotless, all the staff work incredibly hard and were all so helpful. Given that the hotel was in its last week of season the standards were still kept high, and did not look tired. The evening entertainment was great good variety with entertainment if seating areas. The food here was amazing I really cannot understand any one complaining, really makes you wonder what they eat at home. Heard one woman complaining because there were sprouts? Simple , if you don't like them choose something else there was lots of choice. The breads were the best we have had. Fresh made pizza daily where you could choose toppings, always a good choice of meat fish and pasta seafood salads fruit ect. The food was beautifully presented always hot and replenished. The only down side was the veg was mainly frozen, but I guess that is down to cost. The only negatives are the pool, it's not attractive and beds too close together. This was not an issue for us as we prefer the beach which was beautifully clean. This hotel is not suitable for people with mobility issues as has many steps. Would highly recommend for a relaxing break. Well done to the whole team.

We had a really relaxing break during an unexpected end of season heatwave on Ibiza. 26 degrees every day of our visit in mid-October! But leaving the weather aside, we loved the quiet, unspoilt off-the-beaten-track feeling of Portinatx, and Sandos el Greco is ideally placed right beside the beach here. All the hotel staff are really friendly, multi lingual, helpful and patient. We felt the Restaurant, Bar and Entertainment staff all deserved a special mention. These colleagues made for a really happy atmosphere,; we enjoyed delicious, fresh food 3 times a day and some really fun themed nights of on-site entertainment, including quizzes, bingo, team games, live music, performances and shows. This location was heaven for us. By-day we enjoyed clean sand and clear gentle waves, nearby snorkelling, beachside cafes/bars and a couple of shops all within walking distance (but NOT a bustling town centre with dozens of outlets.) We got all of this in Portinaxt. It's very compact, so we could meander and then stroll back to the Sandos El Greco within minutes, to enjoy the outdoor pool and jacuzzi (plus the all inclusive bars and restaurant.) Staff kept the hotel bedrooms and public areas both indoors and outdoors spotlessly clean. Wifi service was excellent. Only one downside is accessibility. There are multiple steps (no ramps) from the bar & restaurant, down to the terrace, pool, jacuzzi and then down further to the beach. The hotel does not currently have lifts or ramps to each level - so people with mobility issues will be prevented from accessing all the outdoor areas here. Hopefully this can be changed in future, as in every other way this is an wonderful hotel and unspoilt natural location.
