Celebrated our 40th anniversary and this was the best! The staff was so much engaged with us and the overall experience was incredible! Not a big Resort but the staff is able to really get engaged with everyone. The nice part about it is that there is no outsiders that can enter the Resort. If you looking to be pampered this is the place to go. Butler service 24/7 I'm Loving it!! Thanks.
Fantastic resort! Small compared to many others, only 74 rooms. But quiet which is exactly what we needed. Food was very good as well. At this resort all rooms have a butler which I was not sure about going in but it was very comfortable. Beach is small so don’t expect long white beaches. Played golf while I was there three times on a beautiful course owned by Sandals. Caddie is required but they help you get to know the course better. Raynard was my caddie for two of the three rounds and he was fantastic! Highly recommend using Raynard!
It’s been 5 years since we’ve been here because of Covid and it continues to fully impress. The beds are comfortable, we slept like the dead, the property is immaculate, both grounds and cleanliness. They’re doing some work on the outside of the French restaurant, but I barely noticed it. Every employee, including grounds workers, are beyond lovely and the service is impeccable. Of particular note: Tiana (who remembered from several days before that I was GF and prevented me from accidentally glutening myself and had them make me separate hashbrowns), Chevon in the French restaurant, Nicholas, Vanya, and Corey at the Terrace and David at the omelet bar, Ornella at Royal Grill, Colin, and Yahshawn with tie dying. Sherrill and Gladstone were our butlers and they were PHENOMENAL, though I hesitate to say it because I don’t want everyone else to request them ;) On the beach, all the beach butlers are amazing but Trevardo deserves a special shout out! If you’re gluten free, Sandals really is the best, their employees are impeccably trained and can immediately tell you what you can and can’t eat and will make you any accommodation humanly possible. I came back to gf crackers on a cheese plate one afternoon. We popped over to the Ochi for Hibachi, but honestly, I wasn’t impressed, the windows were dirty and the food was salty and had a weird taste. It’s also loud, hot, and kind of trashy there, would not recommend. In all, this place is amazing. We want to try another island and will be going to Halcyon next year, but suspect like many people will find that you can’t mess with perfection.
