Beautiful off the beaten path island resort, not yet up to Sandals par
Beautiful, but off the beaten path from the Caribbean beaches we imagined walking along. Amazing, meticulously kept gardens and grounds. Good food. Service staff trying hardest to serve with a smile, but guests could feel something not quite right yet with Sandals management. Might just still be growing pains of this newly opened Sandals Resort. Pros: -Beautiful facility, grounds and gardens -Several unique restaurant options -Amazing double infinity pools -Beautiful 18 hole golf course next to property -Friendly service staff wanting to be helpful -Nightly entertainment -Gorgeous sunsets Cons: -Location too far from the beautiful Curacao beaches -Not yet up to Sandals standard of service, and it felt as a guest because of a lack of training by management -NO real beach. There was beachfront, but the windy/rough/rocky part of the island where swimming was not allowed. There was a small roped off man-made area by a busy canal. But this was hardly like being at a swimming beach. -3 hottubs that were often just warm -Bikes to use on grounds, but not real steady to actually use -More options needed for enjoying the Caribbean waters If you are going to stay here, rent a car. $200 for 3 full days. Drop off and pick up provided. This is well worth it to have the option to visit the beautiful city of Willemstad, and Curacao's beautiful beaches.

This is THE hotel in Curaçao
The loveliest hotel you’ll find in Curaçao. The location in Willemstad, the staff and the rooms were simply perfect. If you have the chance, stay at Wynwood Hotel Boutique. I stay with my mom and sister and the adore it as well The hotel is located at a walking distance from Punda’s bus station and a couple of mink markets It’s also very close from Queen Emma’s Bridge and Otrobanda. You can even walk from the hotel to some of the most beautiful private beaches Avila, Mambo, Lionsdive and the Aquarium and some lovely public beaches: Sakitó and Marie Pampoen.
