Eddie and Lina provided excellent service. They ensured a smooth check in/out process, and the entire hotel staff took care of our needs at all hours of the evening. Great location, and the attached sushi restaurants were best in class. We'll be back.

Little gem
Lovely hotel, ideally situated just around the corner from Times square. Room was bijou but modern. Very comfortable bed and nice shower, which is all I actually need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice area for continental breakfast, which they turn into a bar later. Nice rooftop bar to chill later if you fancy.

First time in New York and right around the corner from Times Square. Tucked into 47th between 7th and 6th avenues, the Sanctuary is a great location to just get out there and see what New York has to offer and that is frankly, bonkers and it’s all true :-) The Sanctuary is just that, once in the doors it’s very chilled, great staff and our room was, I would say, a New York experience I didn’t know I wanted. There are *nice* rooms and ours was nice, but not nice nice - if you understand me. Decor good, fixtures and fittings nice and everything works just fine with some nice touches as well. I have seen movies all my life and the age of the building, the aspect of the corridors and the view from our room was brick and fire escape. I loved it :-) Odd to say for some but for me, travel is about experience and these maybe strange observations might not land for everyone but right now we’re off on a trip which ends back at the Sanctuary before heading home to the UK, and I’m looking forward to returning. We’ll be heading to the bar restaurant on the top floor which is super cute. Big big shout out to Miguelina, a member of of the front desk team to don’t give up when helping me out print some information we really needed, thank you <3 you helped make our trip even better as that was the last puzzle piece to what is turning into one of the most memorable trips. The Sanctuary is a good place to stay. Great if you book a room made to impress. One word on the breakfast. Haha, it’s true, quite basic but great to grab some fuel before you head out. You won’t go hungry in New York!
