Royalton Negril

Our stay at Royalton Negril was nothing short of wonderful. We spent a week in a junior suite with a whirlpool bath, enjoying a breathtaking ocean view. The resort itself is stunning, with pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. There’s a wide range of activities to keep you entertained, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. I want to extend a special thanks to Chef Gary and Chef Roberto for accommodating my halal dietary needs. The lamb and goat, sourced from New Zealand, were already halal, and they also offered halal chicken onsite, which made dining worry-free and enjoyable. The steakhouse restaurant was fantastic and there were a variety of ice creams/desserts at the onsite ice cream parlour. One of the highlights of our trip was waking up early to watch the sunrise on the beach. It was magical to see the sunrise. The resort is very close to Rick’s Cafe which we thoroughly enjoyed. While our stay was almost perfect, we did encounter a couple of minor issues. The air conditioning wasn’t working on the first night, but a technician came promptly the next morning to fix it. The water pressure was a little low, but it didn’t significantly affect our experience. FYI, if you want to travel around Jamaica, most excursions are in Montego Bay or Ocho Rios which are quite far from Negril so keep this in mind. Overall, I highly recommend Royalton Negril to anyone considering it!

We have stayed here multiple times and are never disappointed. The property is large and cleaning staff do an amazing job everywhere and in the rooms. The stretch of beach where the hotel is located is perfect for early morning walks (approx 3 km). The buffet restaurant has lots of variety and is an extra nice treat on Jamaica night. We ate at the Caribbean and Italian restaurants and both were very good. While there, our Butler, Dorrett Black made our stay very special. Also the Bootcamp classes with Alpha were amazing. Alpha is dedicated to his work as a fitness professional and accommodated all participants based on their fitness levels.

This place was amazing. Definitely must have the Butler Service and Gayna HAS to be your Butler. She anticipates your every need, she handles ALL special request (I wanted a cigar) and she was there every day with a smile on her face. The food left us wanting/expecting more. Can’t forget Micheal the Bartender!! But overall a great experience and we will be back next year!! Thank you ALL!!
