This was a nice resort. The suite was amazing - nice beds, the muphy beds for our girls were great. Bathroom could be updated a bit but the shower was excellent. No one was pushy about a timeshare, our concierge was amazing, no one pushed us to tip! Food was good, not insanely amazing but absolutely good. Taco night on Monday was probably the best- street tacos and elote bar! We wanted more of that! Drinks were pretty sweet but good. I wish there was more for the little kids - beach/waves was a little too strong to swim in for toddlers (didn't see much seaweed though) and there was only one tiny playground thing on the beach. There were a couple kid pools but no free toys/water features/splash pads. It's mainly retired folk here- which wasn't a problem for us but just an FYI. This isn't a party resort (we didn't want that). I got a massage and really liked it (but the normal price is something insane like $140 for an hour) so even after my $100 off coupon, it was $60. Another FYI. I think this place would be better for retirees or families with kids over 8(ish).
I stayed at this resort last week for 4 days with a couple of friends. There were a lot of issues that we faced, like the rude front desk staff that didn’t tell us that we needed to take a shuttle to most of the restaurants and the clogged shower drain that wasn’t fixed. The worst part happened on the last day. We left our bags with the bell boy after check out for a few hours before our airport transport was scheduled to arrive. At the airport, we found out that 2 of the 4 suitcases were opened, clothes left a mess and things were either missing/broken or items that weren't ours were shoved into the pockets. Since there was no way of going back to the resort, I send them an email the next day and there is still no response. I’ve never experienced anything like this, which is why I trusted the staff to look after our bags. I am appalled and angry that this happened and that they are ignoring my email.
