We enjoyed the most amazing stay at the weekend. Unbeknown to me my mum contacted the hotel and mentioned it was my birthday (the big 50) so our room was decorated with balloons and the most delicious cake was waiting when we had checked in. thank you for your kind generosity and the fantastic hospitality we enjoyed every second of our stay. Our room was a deluxe view with great views across the city. The team at the Royal Lancaster were so attentive and personable. Cindy welcomed us and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Our bathroom door was slightly stiff and she contacted engineers immediately who rectified this quickly. The room was very comfortable, spotless and the rainfall shower was lovely. We had requested an early check in and late check out which the team were able to facilitate which was much appreciated. We also thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea too it was delicious! Safae in The Hyde Cafe was a brilliant host so attentive knowledgeable and friendly. The service from the breakfast team too was also excellent and welcoming. There was an excellent choice available for breakfast both hot and cold options. A truly memorable stay, the team at the Royal Lancaster certainly go the extra mile and their customer care is fantastic. We will certainly be back!

My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary and the place was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the bed was very comfortable, the view amazing (we were staying on a high floor) and the breakfast buffet was to die for. I wholeheartedly recommend you stay there if your are in London for business or pleasure. Hyde Park is literally opposite and Bond Street / Oxford Street and Notting Hill just a few minutes walk away.

The last time we stayed at the Royal Lancaster was before it underwent its top floor to basement refurbishment and I gave it five stars then! Now it is even better, the hotel exudes classic modern, elegant, sophisticated good taste and design from reception to dining rooms, to bedrooms. We were on the 17th floor which was was simply breathtaking with a 180 degree wide angle view of all that is great about London's skyline, taking in the Post Office Tower to the Eye and beyond. If you wanted to shut the view off at night there were two switches one for a light blind the other for a dark one, and the blinds slid down silently. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and the king-sized bed and pillow were as comfortable as comfortable could be. In addition a great deal of thought had been given to the very subtle and peaceful lighting. The breakfast is in a class of its own for wide choice and taste, whilst our dinner at the in-house Thai restaurant was simply excellent. What added to our stay though was the service. It started with the bowler-hatted-immaculately-attired concierges, one took our car keys and parked our car in the hotel's car park, whilst another took our bags and escorted us to reception. It is service with a smile from everyone including the very helpful waitresses. All the staff seem simply to love their jobs and want to do whatever they can to help make a guest's stay memorable and special, which is a tribute to top management.
