We had a relaxing stay at Corales for 6 nights. On arrival we were greeted by welcoming staff with a glass of rosé cava. We chose to book our transfer from the TFS airport with Suntransfers which worked great as the price of transfers operated by the hotel was ridiculous for a journey that takes less than 30 minutes. We had a Junior Suite Sea Front Panoramic View which apart from the essential amenities had a shower cabin and a bath, a sofa, a desk and a balcony with 2 sunbeds. The room was cleaned every day without fail and turned down in the evenings. We swam in both pools, one on the ground floor and one on the rooftop. The water in both was pleasantly warm and didn’t smell chlorinated at all. Both swimming pools have a bar with cocktails and food next to them with attentive staff. As to the beaches in La Caleta (where hotels don’t have private beaches), the nearest beach with sunbeds and black sand is Playa de la Enramada which rents 2 sunbeds for 18 euros, however the sun is so harsh that I don’t know who would be able to stay on those beds for more than 15 minutes without burning. There are also several entry points into the sea from steps attached to boulders (which can be slippery). The next beach south from La Enramada is Playa del duque norte which is a bay sheltered from waves, and then Playa del duque sur where the sand is whiter and it’s more crowded. The gym is equipped with cardio machines and props in the free weights area including a bosu, Swiss balls, medicine balls, cones, dumbbells and kettlebells - enough for me to build a one hour sequence. The breakfast was good, coffees were amazing and a cooked food menu with international foods had plenty of options. They are very busy about 10 am which seems to be a peak time. We visited all the hotel restaurants except for El Rincón de Juan Carlos because they didn’t offer a meat free menu option at the time of booking. Both Starfish and San Hô are high quality restaurants but in our opinion Il Bocconcino was definitely the best in terms of food, wine list, ambiance and service. There are also a lot of nice restaurants a short walk away from the hotel.

Just returned from 11 nights at Royal Hideaway ,what a fantastic hotel . Booked trip as it was our 25th wedding anniversary and our first trip in 3 years due to COVID and other family illnesses . Needed time to relax, heal, just be together and this was the perfect place Hotel beautiful, spotlessly clean ,spacious rooms and beautiful views Staff were fantastic got the balance just right ,friendly ,helpful but not over the top which can be a problem in some 5 star hotels . Food in hotel lovely ,plenty of choice Did eat out most evenings as some amazing restaurants around the hotel overlooking the sea Cant say enough good things perfect holiday wouldn't hesitate to book again
