Having read some reviews stating this was a business hotel, we found that the hotel catered for families also on a leisure holiday. The hotel was immaculate, the food was great in Reds. The pool was a fair size and warm. The shuttle to universal was great. We were also giving free itrolley tickets which took us to seaworld. The rooms were cleaned daily. I could not fault this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

I was booked here for 5 nights for a work conference in the convention center nearby. On my first night, after using the shower, the faucet did not stop dripping. It was late at night so I decided to call front desk in the morning. The next morning, I open the door to the washroom to see a cockroach running across the floor. I took a picture in case I needed proof and killed the roach before calling front desk. The manager's reaction was so casual that it makes me think that this is a common problem in the hotel. She didn't even apologize, but offered to move me into another room. After questioning how they're going to ensure I'm not met with another roach in the new room, she told me that she would thoroughly inspect the room along with an 'engineer' before moving me into it. When it came time to move to the new room, they sent someone up to give me the new keys, and I wasn't even offered help to move my luggage to the new room. He simply gave me the keys and walked away - shows how much they care about providing a good experience. When I got into the new room, I opened the closet to put my luggage away and found a Duracell battery on the floor. This indicates 2 things: 1) house-cleaning is not thorough, 2) the room wasn't 'thoroughly' inspected by the manager and engineer. There was also a piece of plastic on the countertop under the t.v. Needless to say, I felt very uncomfortable staying in this hotel, and if it was up to me I would have checked out and gone to a different one. I spoke to another manager, Stuart, who was very apologetic and expressed regret for my bad experience which is a lot more than the 2 female managers expressed when the issue first happened. The food and beverages in the hotel are very overpriced. As an avid international traveler, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I certainly won't be returning.

I was to attend a conference there with High School students in July.We were allowed to switch our reservation to their sister property Rosen Point. It is just a few feet away.I had a 271$ charge from Rosen Center when I returned home for a no show.I called twice to get it removed and was told no.I was told although it is owned by the same group,I had not personally called to cancel.I understand Hotel business and rules but I feel this was unjustified. They knew we were at the Rosen Point but just chose this policy!
