Riu Plaza Miami Beach

This hotel is perfect for anyone visiting Miami Beach, not in the rowdy area but still beachfront. The checkin area is truly amazing, beautiful and efficient. Such an ambient place sit and watch the world go by. The hotel has a private and quiet beach space with beds, towels and umbrellas provided free. During our stay our air conditioner broke down late at night which could not be repaired due to the time and there was no room available, making it a very hot and uncomfortable night, night staff tried to help providing water and fan but at 27c it wasn’t adequate . However the following morning the hotel more than made up for it, they changed us to the most incredible beach view room with a truly incredible balcony and a fruit breakfast delivered to our room. Normal breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes on all 4 mornings of our stay .. Rooms were clean and housekeeping visited daily I would love to thank the General Manager for making the final step of our epic holiday of a lifetime perfect.. thank you ever so much, your kindness will be remembered fondly by us both for many years

Convenient location and nice clean rooms. Very nice pool and great food variety for breakfast. The beach is just behind the hotel. The staff in reception is polite but the person(s) in charge of answering e-mails should take a service class.

Our staying experience with my mom was very pleasant.The room was spacious with nice balcony and ocean view ( only thing I reserved the ocean view and they put us in the ground so we can’t enjoy the view so much)I love the double sink at the restroom area!!! - saving lots of time :-))Hotel was excellent, beautiful lobby, very clean,service was very great,working people there very friendly and helpful, pool was decent surroundings with palms trees and chairs ,garden was very well maintained and super clean everywhere! Pool bar had a great option for easy lunch and delicious drinks- we love Piña Colata specially late afternoon when short rain comes- you can sitting there enjoy the warm breeze and listen good music. Beach is super amazing clean every day - just couple steps away with chairs and umbrellas,beautifully steady clear water- excellent swimming- go little early to found your spot there is no reservation accepted! Breakfast place was also amazing very delicious -wow-serving was pleasant- we loved sitting outside it was more quiet and very relaxing.Go super early if you like quiet time- later is little crowded. The bus and free trolley station is directly on front of the hotel very convenient and you can go simply everywhere… easy walk to the popular shopping and entertainment area about 15-20 minutes- to South beach by the trolley about 30-40 min- also express trolley run often and is very quick but mostly always very crowded specially late afternoon and night time. Lots of options for a great trips around- they have trips station on the hotel lobby and also taxi service.we were visited VIZCAYA, Raccoon island by kayak, Take a tour by Big bus tour around the city( Wynwood wall,Little Havana, the pier with Boat trip) try the Cuban coffee at La Solada little coffee shop it is sooo delicious!! We were also at Everglades park for half day picking up from our hotel to see swamps and alligators. And if you like to beauty architecture visit Versace Villa on south beach is is phenomenal experience ( make reservations for a dinner then you can go inside and feel the beauty of this place) Miami has little things for everyone- I’m definitely coming back for this hotel again!!! Only little things I can recommend the room needs a hanger for a restroom tallows. Thank you for our pleasure stay
