We had a wonderful week at the resort. It’s walking distance to 5th Ave. The RIU activity staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. Joe the fit instructor was awesome! I would highly recommend it !!

We visited the Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya in 2019, 2022 and now in February 2023. We want to return to this hotel again and again for great overall maximum satisfaction. We have already visited Riu hotels six times in different countries and have always been satisfied. We are very grateful for the very professional and friendly service of Mr. Carlos and Escobar. We thank you again for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Went on this trip with 8 other girlfriends! Check in was fast & without even asking they put all 5 of our rooms close to each other. Room was very musty smelling but after leaving the door open for about a 1/2 hour it was ok. Our 2 beds were pushed together and there was only a shower curtain separating the beds from the bath tub. Towels were large & great! Beach was great, pool was great but not taking reservations was a problem for our group. We understood that having 9 people would be tough so decided we always ask for 2 tables. We waited about 45 minutes for the fusion restaurant, an hour for the Italian restaurant (would not recommend) and over an hour for the steak house (best meal of the trip). Buffet for breakfast, lunch & dinner was great. Was not my favorite hotel in Mexico but the price was good.
