Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Beach South Beach

The hotel we felt is located in a good spot for our needs. Close to grocery stores, one right across the street the other two within 10 minute walk. Lincoln St. Shops & Restaurants area under 10 minute walk. Collin Road & Washington Ave area within a 30 minute walk.Quiet for a good nights sleep. Room was spacious with king bed walk in shower and refrigerator, microwave, portable dishwasher and dinnerware and utensils. Daily housekeeping if you wanted it. Bed is comfortable but is starting to show wear. Breakfast selection could be better, offer more variety or offer different options on different days. what they offered was okay but basically the same each day. Weather was hot and humid while in Miami Beach and the air conditioning was having trouble keeping the room from being damp. Property is in pretty good condition some repairs needed but that is always an ongoing issue anywhere. There is a rooftop pool. Free shuttle to the beach, short ride. Would stay here again next time in Miami Beach.

Once again, we had the pleasure at staying at this brilliant hotel with our family on a recent trip from the UK. after an unpleasant start to our holiday in a previous hotel forcing us to vacate, The hotel manager Andrea and her team made us feel extremely welcome and at home after staying here previously! it's reassuring to know that when you put your trust in someone they deliver the best service without hesitation. [About the hotel] every day the hotel was clean, well presented with cleaning & maintenance staff going above and beyond. we travel regularly and we never have had come a welcoming team taking care of the hotel. the rooftop pool area was excellent with access 24/7 you can relax and enjoy the incredible views across to Miami and surrounding areas. the hotel charges a resort fee which $22 per night, within this you are provided with excellent services including the free shuttle to and from the beach, sun loungers on the beach, bike rentals, free towels to take to the beach and use around the pool, you also receive free bottled water daily throughout your stay. [Location] separate from the hotel, you are a walking distance away from an excellent range of Supermarkets with one opposite, and about a 5 minute walk to both Fresh market & Publix. you also have the option for Several Bars & Restaurants located along Lincoln Rd. we mostly chose to Uber a lot as we visited in august however its nice to know that you have lots of options to walk out if you decide to. [Overall] in my honest opinion, we couldn't recommend this hotel enough, it has the perfect offering for everyone including families travelling long or short distance. couples traveling, or even a solo traveler. we most definitely will be back whenever we are next in Miami.

Great property but poorly managed. The location is fantastic with Lincoln Ave (many shops and restaurants) just 2 minutes away and the beach itself is 10-15 minutes walk. Marriot has to do a better job with such a good property. The staff and maintenance needs attention.
