Perfect Stay thanks to Mileyy
I have stayed several times at the Residence Inn in Miami Beach. Mileyy has helped me several times by getting my Amazon orders organised for me, giving me access to a quiet room so I can present during a conference call, provided me guidance where to eat well for a reasonable price, and also took care of my luggage after check out. Thanks to Mileyy the Residence Inn Miami Beach is my first hotel choice in South Beach.

Cannot be trusted with your reservation
This hotel failed to honor my reservation, cancelled my booking and never informed me. They left me stranded and to my own efforts to find a replacement (30 minutes away). I have never experienced this. I'm a Marriott elite member. The hotel claimed to attempt to charge my primary card and it was declined - that is 100% untrue and surprise... they were conveniently oversold. I was told by another Marriott property this is their typical "M.O." and they do this when oversold. They were defensive and unhelpful in rebooking me and callous. You cannot trust a reservation here - their location is good enough coupled with a cheaper price that the customer is not their priority.

Always a great stay
I just finished my fourth stay at this wonderful hotel. The rooftop pool is warm, clean, and for some reason never very crowded. All of the front desk employees are friendly and helpful. The beach shuttle driver Patricia is wonderful as well. The location does a great job of recognizing Marriott Titanium members with upgrades and late check-out requests. I recently experimented with staying elsewhere. Upon checking in I realized that the description had been misleading, I immediately left and went to the Residence Inn, which saved my vacation. In the future I'll be sticking with the Residence Inn.
