Refinery Hotel is the imaginative reinterpretation of the Colony Arcade—a former hat factory and Prohibition-era tea room. More than 100 years of Garment District history are on display at our luxury hotel near Bryant Park. With an unprecedented degree of precision, much like the milliners before us who stitched elegant hats, we transformed a factory building into stylish loft rooms with soaring ceilings, the acclaimed Parker & Quinn restaurant, and our fashionable Refinery Rooftop bar.
The Refinery Hotel welcomes guests of all abilities. Our property descriptions aim to allow any visitor to make an informed decision on whether the hotel is an appropriate choice for their needs.

Very poor customer experience - we went to Parker & Quinn diner at the back of the hotel. We arrived just as they had finished breakfast so were told we had to wait until the lunch menu was available 45 mins later and we could only sit at the bar - despite the whole place being empty. We had (terrible) coffee and waited. We then were told we could ‘check in’ for lunch at the desk, went there and were told we had to wait until the minute it opened to go through …but no-one came to get us or say anything. Having gone through we were rushed through ordering (we’ve thought it was not busy at the time). Whilst eating the staff tried to remove either my or my son’s plate FOUR times. And then you have never seen anyone give you a bill so fast …but then not come back for payment. This was the ONE place in the US I left NO tip to make a point.

Had such an amazing time at Refinery! The hotel is beautiful and the bathrooms are to die for with Rhone products!! The beds are also extremely comfortable with ample pillows, and we did the big room with two queens and there was SO much space which is rare to find in NYC. The team, especially Morgan and Allison, went out of their way to make sure the room was decorated for our friend! We had a disco theme, and the balloons were huge confetti balloons, so on point!! They also helped us in making a reservation at the rooftop for drinks where had an awesome table with views of the empire state building, and surprised my friend with a piece of cake and a sparkler! So grateful to the Refinery team and the hotel staff for a wonderful stay!

All in all, the Refinery Hotel provided an extraordinary experience. Great location close by to all the popular tourist spots. Upon arrival, the staff was pleasant and extended the option of water or wine with the room. The room was not only spacious, but also modern and stylish. The room was immaculate, with comfortable temperatures and a comfy bed. The hotel's decor and atmosphere were among the most exceptional I have encountered across Boston, New York, and other cities. It smelled amazing in the lobby so much so that we had to get one of their signature candles at check out! The GM Gabriel went out of his way to ask us about our stay and make sure everything was perfect - which it was. We dined at Parker & Quin and it was absolutely delicious. We actually went to the Rooftop on the second day to order the hummus once more. Such a cool, fun environment and the cocktails were great which is always a selling point. Furthermore, parking right across the street with their "parking package" was the most convenient parking experience I have had in the city, eliminating the need to travel with bags blocks away back to the hotel. Without a doubt will be returning to the Refinery for my next NYC stay!
