This is the Double Tree at 25 West 51st Street, NYC. Be alert as there are multiple Double Tree and multiple Hilton Hotels in NYC. I was arranging for two rooms for visiting family who stayed four nights. The staff was terrific I called the front desk about 5 times during the 2 weeks before arrival to make/confirm arrangements. Each time the phone was promptly answered by an intelligent person who was very helpful. No inaccurate information was given. Upon arrival both persons were upgraded to a higher room without asking. The views were magnificent. The restaurant had fine views and good food. The location was absolutely perfect for tourists.

This hotel is right next to Rockefeller centre and fifth Ave shops. Bed very comfy, lots of amenities but small bathroom. To be honest when I’m NYC you’re hardly in your room, so yes it’s abit small but location fantastic. We didn’t try the restaurant but there’s heaps of cute cafes and eateries all nearby.

Worst experience. We made a reservation for adjoining rooms, actually spoke with a live person to do so. Arrived at the hotel only to be told there were no adjoining room. The attitude of the manager, the front desk personnel, and customer service was that of “It’s your problem, not ours.” Ended up with a suite, 1 bed, 1 bathroom, not the reservation at all. My relationship with Hilton is over.
