Be prepared for terrible customer service.... One version of breakfast... Poor maintenance and terrible food. Stayed here n extended period of time (6 Weeks) due to work... Out of those 6...2 weeks were without issues. The food gave me diarrhea x3... The hot water worked consistently for 2wks only. Ceiling fell in one room n they r sloow to react.... DO NOT COME HERE
I'm going to share the bad, then the good. 1st impressions matter a great deal & the lobby & check-in experience were not good. We arrived at 6pm, several hours after check-in time & had to wait nearly 3hrs for our room to be ready. The lobby itself needs improvement & updates. There are a jumble of random seating options with missing pillows on some sofas. There was no water (for some reason they only put h20 in the lobby mid-day) & no bellhop to help unload or take luggage to rooms. The room numbers are confusing & the sineage (& lack of compound map at check in) left us wandering around for the 1st day or so trying to get our bearings. All of this could easily be improved, the staff was cheerful & helpful but didn't seem to see what was missing (or take the initiative). Now for the good! The property is mostly clean (the pools need some help with more regular cleaning & staff could do a better job of picking up trash, dishes etc left by guests in corridos & publicspaces). The gardens are lovely & clearly a source of pride for the gardeners! The location is perfect, with grand anse beach just steps away & several restaurants & bars within walking distance. The food at the resort was pretty good! The breakfast buffet had a gorgeous array of staples (waffles, cereal, omelets, fruit), baked goods, & local delights (fry bakes, salt fish, provisions). The rooms were clean, the beds & pillows were comfortable. The entertainment was nice especially the steel drums & local dance performances! For the value, the Radisson is a great choice. Very safe, fun & comfortable! I'd go again, but be prepared to wait upon check-in & overlook some minor annoyances.
Just had another great stay at this hotel! Location is perfect, right on the beach and close to shops etc. Rooms are spacious and staff are friendly and helpful. Outstanding service from Carmen, Alana, Kendra, Natalie, Rena, Daeyna, Moses and Rhondy. Thanks again to the Guest Services Manager for our surprise. Can’t wait to come back and see you all again soon!
