We have just spent a week at the Radisson Blu Zafron Resort in Santorini and had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful, the pool area is amazing with really comfortable sun loungers, the area is well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. The design of the rooms are stylish. Food and drink was fantastic and just a short walk from the bars, restaurants. I had a massage in the spa which was lovely, the spa is modest on size and functional. We also found the trip to be really good value, we would strongly recommend and would happily return. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing trip, we loved it.

We stayed at this hotel from the 1st - 8th September. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the lovely Margarita who swiftly checked us in. To our suprise we had been upgraded to a Villa (1014) this villa was absolutely stunning. It was over two floors and had two terraces over looking the pool. The villa was spotless and was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Do book the villa it will make your stay. We were half board and did not intend to eat at the hotel every evening - we ate there all but one evening as the food was excellent - the best hotel food I have had in a very long time. There was lots of choice and daily specials. You must try the Mousakka it was beyond. The only small niggle was that you had to book your evening table every morning, sometimes we forgot as we went to the beach most days which meant we could not get a table until 9.00/9.30 which is a little late. The staff in the restaurant were exceptional and could not help you more. We are beach people and the beach is walking distance from the hotel, there are lots of nice spots by the beach with lovely restaurants attached for lunch. If you want a sunbed by the pool you do have to be up early. We came back to the pool late afternoon and managed to get some sunbeds for the last hour or so with one of the lovely pool cocktails make sure you try them as they are top class. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were here and we went on the Diamond 5 hour day Cruise from Oia it is well worth doing and can be booked at Reception. The lovely Chara has lots of ideas for trips that you can book and is really helpful she organised a taxi to Oia to a beautiful cliff side restaurant call Botrini's for my husbands birthday - it is expensive but if you are a foodie it was exceptional and the view was stunning. The vibe at this hotel is very stylish and chic and with laid back chilled atmosphere. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful we had a late flight hme and Maria managed for us to stay in our room until 6.00 pm (for a fee) which was really helpful. This hotel is really worth a visit and it is the Jewel in Karmari's Crown. Go you will love it.

We arrived to a very warm welcome by Margarita who showed us to our room and made sure we knew where everything was. All the staff were friendly yet professional and the room was kept spotless and well supplied by housekeeping. Unfortunately my partner had an accident on our third day and had to go by air ambulance to Athens for treatment. This was a scary experience for both of us and it was very reassuring to have the hotel call us every day to see how we were doing. On our return after a few days we were greeted by lots of staff members who went out of their way to assist as my partner was on crutches. They gave us an accessible room and made sure that he was comfortable at breakfast and dinner. On the day of departure they extended our stay in the room as our flight did not leave until late that evening. On settling our bill we found that all our medical transfers had been covered by them. As technically our stay did not include the evening meal on the last night we booked into the restaurant for dinner fully expecting to pay the normal a la carte price. When I went to pay for the meal I was taken aback to find that the restaurant staff had covered the full cost at their own expense. I would like to name and praise everybody individually but I am afraid I might leave someone out. Their warmth and kindness in extremely difficult circumstances made everything more tolerable. The staff in this hotel are truly exceptional. In summary, despite a traumatic event, our stay couldn’t have been better and we will certainly return.
