Radisson Blu Hotel Champs Elysees, Paris

Arrived at this hotel tired and looking forward to a night of luxury and relaxation only to find out that I was be faced with the worst 5 Star Hotel I have ever seen in all of my travels! My shower didn’t work, there were no facilities to charge my phone near the bed, the interior look like it hadn’t been redecorated since the 1970s (and not in a good way) everything about this Hotel screams 2 stars. The only thing about this hotel that deserves any mention in a positive side is the staff and the location. Advertising this hotel as a 5 star hotel is deceptive and in my opinion potentially fraudulent. I was told that the kitchen was closed after 10 o’clock in the evening and that they were no longer offering 24 hour room service. I wasn’t told that the hotel was undergoing renovations at the time that we booked the hotel and had I known this I would’ve stayed somewhere else. Frankly had I stayed at a backpacker hostel I think I would’ve enjoyed a higher standard of luxury than I did at this absolutely vile hotel. If you want to stay in a hotel and enjoy a little bit of luxury then I suggest you stay anywhere else but this hotel !!!!!!!

This hotel for what I paid is not worth it. Go to the competition, Intercontinental down the street. This hotel furniture has not been updated since the 1980s. Rooms are small and the hotel needs to be severely updated When checking out early in the morning approx 4:45 am no staff to be found. I did find my taxi driver knocking on the locked front lobby door. Desk staff member finally woke up, with shirt unbuttoned and gave me the wrong bill of another customer in his zombie sleepwalking state.

I am always satisfied about radisson the personnel is friendly and professional the rooms are always cleaned the only issue is the noise from outside maybe the windows must be a little bit thicker than what they are
